Pokopia: Every Decorative Pokéball Location for the Mermaid’s Gym Set

Where to dig, dive, and break walls in Bubbly Basin to collect all six Decorative Pokéballs and finish set No. 036.

The Mermaid’s Gym display (set No. 036) in Pokémon Pokopia asks for six Decorative Pokéballs, and every one of them sits somewhere inside the Bubbly Basin area added in the game’s Bubbly Basin content. None are lying out in the open. Each ball is tucked behind a breakable wall, buried under diggable ground, or hidden inside a house you have to swim to. Collect all six and the set completes, which is tied to unlocking Starmie’s habitat.

Quick answer: All six Decorative Pokéballs (Dive Ball, Heal Ball, Net Ball, Quick Ball, Great Ball, and Lure Ball) are in Bubbly Basin. You reach them using Rock Smash to break walls, Magnet Rise to drop into dug holes, and Surf to swim underwater. The maps that point to them drop randomly while dowsing.

Decorative Dive Ball location

Start at the town square and walk right toward Misty’s Gym. You can also line this up from the Pokéball pedestal building and face it directly.

Turn left just before the gym entrance. There is a blocked path here, marked by a patch of star-spotted rock.
Break through the barrier with Rock Smash. The Dive Ball sits behind it.

Decorative Heal Ball location

Find the tall red building in Bubbly Basin and move to the house right next to it.
Dig a hole in the ground beside that house. This opens a hidden room underneath.
Drop into the secret room to grab the Heal Ball.

Decorative Net Ball location

Head to the pink NPC and drop down the cliffside next to them.
Dig through the pink blocks to open the cave entrance, then head inside past the blue crystals.
Follow the mine rails. Turn right at the track intersection and break the wall there. The Net Ball is behind it. If you get lost, just keep following the tracks and clear anything blocking them.

Decorative Quick Ball location

Stand in the center of town and head right.
Break through the stone wall barrier that blocks the path.
Continue straight along the path to reach the Quick Ball. Use the surrounding houses as landmarks if you drift off course.

Decorative Great Ball location

Begin at the Pokémon Center and enter the L-shaped building next to it.
Inside, break the wooden wall in the kitchen area. On the map, this is the wall opposite the water wheel, on the left side of the building.
Drop down, open the door, and collect the Great Ball.

Decorative Lure Ball location

Go to the windmill on the top right of the Bubbly Basin map and dive underwater near it.
Swim down until you spot a small pointed house, then head inside and move behind the stairs.
Go up the stairs, turn right, and break the wall. You will see the message “You found someone’s hidden treasure! It’s a decorative Lure Ball!” when you pick it up.

How to find the treasure maps by dowsing

The maps that mark these balls are random loot when you use the Dowsing Machine. There is no fixed order and no guaranteed drop, so keep dowsing around Bubbly Basin and the maps will eventually appear. Once you have a map, the directions above take you straight to the matching ball.

Tip: Have Rock Smash, Magnet Rise, and Surf ready before you set out. Rock Smash clears the walls and star-spotted rock, Magnet Rise helps you drop cleanly into dug holes, and Surf gets you to the underwater Lure Ball house.

Confirming the Mermaid’s Gym set is complete

Set No. 036 needs all six balls plus a Marine sofa and six pedestals (exhibition stands) to display them. When each Decorative Great Ball, Heal Ball, Dive Ball, Net Ball, Lure Ball, and Quick Ball is placed on its stand, the Mermaid’s Gym set list shows every entry filled in. That completed display is what you are working toward, and it feeds into unlocking Starmie’s habitat. If the set still reads as incomplete, check which pedestal is empty and return for the ball you are missing.
