Project Slayers 2 Clan Tier List: Best Clans for PvP and PvE

Every clan sorted from build-defining Supremes down to reroll fodder, with the stats and skills behind each placement.

Clans in Slayers 2 are not simple stat sticks. Each one bundles passive bonuses with active skills, modes, immunities, and progression boosts, and you get them by rerolling rather than picking them off a menu. That makes knowing which rolls are worth keeping the difference between banking a build-defining clan and burning spins on a dead end.

Quick answer: Rengoku is the strongest all-round clan, with Kamado, Uzui, and Soyama beside it. Kocho and Agatsuma match that level only on Insect and Thunder builds respectively.

Rankings weigh four things: raw passive stats, how much the clan’s active skills do in a real fight, whether those skills are locked to one Breathing Style or Blood Demon Art, and what the clan gives you outside combat in progression bonuses. This ordering reflects the clan roster as of September 2026 and will shift if Water Breathing or the weaker Demon Arts get buffed.

Rarity tells you how hard a clan is to land, not how good it is. A Rare clan that matches your style can outperform a higher rarity whose skills you never use.

S tier: the four Supreme clans worth stopping your rerolls for

ClanHealthStaminaDamage Factor
Rengoku+185+125+26%
Kamado+175+130+23%
Soyama+170+128+22%
Uzui+165+135+21%

All four Supremes also carry +2 Damage Reduction and +6% Damage Reduction Factor, which is why they hold up in end-game PvP even when the fight goes badly.

Rengoku is the highest DPS clan in the game. It has the largest damage factor bonus, stacks heavy burn damage, and pushes burn onto your M1s through Ignition Hit. Indomitable Will hands you a free combo extender, Flame mode adds damage and reflects damage back at attackers, and Master Swordsman speeds up Katana progression. The defensive half is just as important: Rengoku resists Flame damage and is immune to Indomitable Will, the combo extender the other top clans lean on.

Kamado is the most complete pick. The stun move slots straight into combos, the passive damage and stamina bonuses are among the best available, and Combat Intuition converts damage taken into extra offense. For Demons it also supplies regeneration and Sun Immunity, which frees up the gear slot you would otherwise spend on sun protection. Headbutt is the weakest skill in the set and does not change the verdict.

Uzui feels like an upgraded Douma. Enhanced Hearing raises your personal damage by 20% for 10 seconds. Musical Score learns an opponent’s key skill, allowing you to perfectly block that skill the next time it is used. Vital Draw randomly grants healing, M1 evasion with fist damage, or a large stamina refill. He also has auto-blocks and Indomitable Will immunity, along with Poison Conversion and Pain Resistance; the 25% Quest EXP bonus makes him effective for farming as well as dueling.

Soyama is the counter-play clan. Combat Intuition stores damage you deal and pays it back as bonus Weapon, Breathing, or Demon Art damage, while Bell Splitter stuns and slows a target and weakens their fists on a successful read. Whiffing the counter leaves you in recovery, so Soyama rewards players who can time an opponent’s aggression rather than mash.

S tier with conditions: Kocho and Agatsuma

Two lower-rarity clans reach the top of the list, but only on the right build. Run them on anything else and they drop several tiers.

Kocho is the best Legendary in the game and the definitive Poison clan, provided you are using Insect Breathing. It stacks Poison damage buffs, Insect-specific buffs, and skill debuffs that carry in both PvP and PvE, and it makes you immune to Poison outright. Its base stats are modest at +75 Health, +26 Stamina, and +12% Additional Damage Factor, so the skill package is doing all the work.

Agatsuma pairs with Thunder Breathing and buffs its damage directly. You also get a damage amplification mark, a damage boost when your health is low, and burn application through Flaming Thunder God. Its +105 Health and +90 Stamina are the thinnest of the Mythics, but +19% Additional Damage Factor plus movement speed and stamina regen make it a fast, aggressive Katana clan.

Agatsuma earns its S placement through Thunder synergy, low-health damage scaling, and burn application. Shown at 02:37 in Roblofix’s video.

A tier: strong Mythic clans that fall just short

ClanHealthStaminaDamage Factor
Shinazugawa+135+90+18%
Himejima+130+90+17%
Douma+120+95+18%
Iguro+110+85+20%

Himejima sits at the top of A tier. Enhanced Hearing marks a target for 14 seconds and makes them take 25% more damage regardless of your weapon, Stone Skin reflects M1 damage while adding reduction and regeneration, and Repetitive Action rewards mixing skills into M1 strings. The catch is that the clan is built around absorbing hits, and high-level play is about not getting hit.

Iguro is the mobility pick. Its +25% Movement Speed Factor is the largest on any clan and applies before Flash Step, which makes controlling distance far easier. Kaburamaru adds homing pressure, Poison, percentage-of-max-health damage useful against bosses, and a close-range bind, while Serpent’s Wrath boosts what is currently one of the strongest Breathing Styles. It is still not the best Poison clan, and its defensive stats trail the Supremes.

Shinazugawa barely depends on Wind Breathing, which is why it lands here despite Wind’s slow start-ups. Windstorm Vigor improves damage, stamina efficiency, and movement, Weapon Versatility grants +25% Katana and Weapon mastery, and Unyielding Spirit makes your last 30% of health harder to remove while raising your damage. It also has Poison tools, though not at Kocho or Iguro level.

Shinazugawa lands in A tier on general damage buffs plus weapon mastery and EXP progression. Shown at 01:27 in Roblofix’s video.

Douma is the defensive duelist. Three auto-dodges per skill and a clone swap that pulls you out of combos give you tools to steal momentum back, and the damage factor bonus is respectable. It also boosts Demon progression. Uzui covers similar ground with better offense, which keeps Douma out of S tier.

B tier: situational clans and support picks

These clans all have something worth using. None of them can keep pace across every mode.

  • Shabana — Core Detachment creates a zone granting +25% Additional Damage Factor, +15% Max Health Factor, and +6% Damage Reduction Factor to everyone inside, plus Poison Generation on M1s and ally buffs from Siblings Bond. Rate it higher for organised group PvE, lower solo.
  • Tamayo — Healing, boss cooldown resets, and useful debuffs, but no passives at all, which caps its ceiling in both modes.
  • Tomioka — The cooldown resets are genuinely strong. Everything else is tied to Water Breathing.
  • Ubuyashiki — Block ignore is a real PvP advantage and the detonate and summon keep pressure on, but the clan has a -6% Additional Damage Factor and no damage buffs to offset it.
  • Urokodaki — A Rare clan with a surprisingly good passive damage boost for early progression; its mode only pays off on Water Breathing.
B Tier: Urokodaki00:24B Tier: Urokodaki
Urokodaki holds B tier on its passive damage boost, held back by Water Breathing's current state. Shown at 00:24 in Roblofix’s video.

Water Breathing’s standing is the most contested call in the clan rankings. Treated as a weak style, Tomioka, Urokodaki, Sabito, and Makomo all sit low. A meaningful Water buff would lift every one of them.

C and D tier: what to reroll

Yahaba is the best of the Rare leftovers because its combo extender has real use, and Arrow Manipulation performs acceptably in PvE. Sabito and Makomo are both Water-focused like Urokodaki but weaker, with Sabito slightly ahead thanks to its +10% Additional Damage Factor. Susumaru is built around Tamari, which sits at the bottom of the Demon Art rankings, though it works as a starter clan if you are partied with another Susumaru or Yahaba.

Everything in the Uncommon and Common pools is reroll material. Uncommon clans hand out roughly +23 to +28 Health with small speed or stamina bonuses, and Commons give single-line effects like +2% Movement Speed Factor or +9 Max Health. They exist to keep you rolling, not to support a build.

How Breathing Style and Blood Demon Art choice shifts these placements

Roughly half the clan roster has at least one skill welded to a specific style. Kocho needs Insect, Agatsuma needs Thunder, Iguro wants Serpent, Rengoku wants Flame, and Tomioka, Urokodaki, Sabito, and Makomo all lean on Water. Check that overlap before you decide a roll is bad.

The Demon side works the same way. Susumaru’s ceiling is set by Tamari, a Demon Art that lands at the bottom of the rankings because it is outclassed at almost everything it tries to do, and better suited to PvE than PvP.

Tamari Manipulation sits in C tier, which is the main reason Susumaru struggles. Shown at 00:15 in Roblofix’s video.

Clans with no art-specific skills, including Kamado, Uzui, Soyama, Douma, and Himejima, are free to pair with whatever Demon Art you land. Ice Manipulation and Blood Manipulation lead that list, with Shockwave close behind on the strength of its counters, PvP combo routes, and AoE barrage against dungeon bosses.

A Tier: Shockwave01:25A Tier: Shockwave
Shockwave ranks highly for counter play in PvP and AoE barrage damage in PvE dungeons. Shown at 01:25 in Roblofix’s video.

Dream Manipulation is the other strong partner for a combo-heavy clan, since its heavy stuns and grab setups create the openings that a damage-stacking clan like Rengoku or Soyama converts into a full string.

Dream Manipulation ranks high for stun-heavy moves and grab setups that feed combo extensions. Shown at 02:09 in Roblofix’s video.

Because Supremes roll at 0.1%, most players will be deciding whether a Mythic or Legendary is good enough to stop on rather than holding out for Rengoku. If you land Kocho with Insect Breathing or Agatsuma with Thunder, keep it. If the clan’s headline skills are tied to a style you do not run, it is a reroll no matter how rare it looked.
