Thunder Breathing is one of the eight Breathing styles in Slayers 2, and its trainer is tucked away at the top of the cliffs rather than anywhere near a spawn point. The walk itself is short. The climb is the part that stops most players, because the final stretch is a stack of vine-covered trees and sheer rock faces that only work if you have already unlocked Wall Climb.
Quick answer: Run from Windy Path through the Bamboo Grove and past the Obari boss arena into Verdant Cliffs, then wall-climb the vine trees and rock faces until you reach the flat plateau where the Thunder Trainer stands.
Requirements before you go
Standing next to the NPC does nothing on its own. Check these off first so the trip is not wasted.
- Level 25 — the current milestone for starting any Breathing style questline.
- Wall Climb unlocked through the skill tree; the route cannot be finished without it.
- Materials for the questline, which are paid to the trainer after you reach him.
- Enough stamina headroom to break the climb into several stages.
Reaching the trainer does not hand you the moveset. You still have to complete his training objectives before Thunder Breathing becomes usable. You can, however, scout the location early and come back once you hit the level and material requirements. The game runs on Roblox.

Add to Google Preferences →Route to the Thunder Breathing trainer from Windy Path
The cleanest approach starts at the Windy Path safe zone and heads east toward Verdant Cliffs, which sits on the right side of the map. Everything between the two is ground you can sprint through; the enemies along the way do not need to be fought.
The Wall Climb prompt appears on the T key whenever you are close enough to a climbable surface. Stop on each ledge to let stamina refill before starting the next section, since running dry mid-climb drops you back down.
Shorter approach from the Bamboo Grove
If you are already deep in the Bamboo Grove near the Mother Spider area, you can skip most of the overland run. Cross the red wooden bridge in the direction of Oorhasaki’s house, dashing to save time.

Once there, enter the Wilderness and orient yourself toward the tall stone pillars visible in the distance—the destination. Take the raised dirt ridges in their direction until you reach the pillar’s base, where a climbing branch marks the Verdant Cliffs entry point.
Climb the green branch to gain your first bit of height, then work up the tall stone walls in stages. The top of that cliff is the same plateau the Windy Path route leads to.
How to confirm you found the Thunder Trainer
You are in the right spot when the plateau flattens out and an NPC nameplate reading Thunder Trainer appears above a seated elderly character. Walking into range brings up the “T Thunder Trainer Chat” interaction prompt at the bottom of the screen. The NPC is commonly listed as Zentaro.

Open the chat to see the exact level and material costs attached to Thunder Breathing, then work through his training objectives. If the plateau looks empty, check your height first — the trainer sits above the last vine tree, not on the ledge below it — and rejoin the server if the area did not load in properly.
Where the other Breathing trainers are
Thunder is one of eight styles, and every trainer is hidden somewhere that needs a specific traversal skill or item. Level 25 is the shared entry point for all of them.
| Style | Trainer | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Thunder | Zentaro | Verdant Cliffs plateau; Wall Climb required |
| Serpent | Obari | Cliff above the starting area |
| Insect | Shinora | Roof of the main Butterfly Mansion building |
| Flame | Rengu | House by the red bridge from Mistfall Village |
| Stone | Gyorei | Lower path from the bear area; needs Axe and Mace |
| Water | Urokodaki | Underwater passage near the island house |
| Wind | Saneri | Platform in the snowy biome past the bear area |
| Sound | Tengai | High ledges in Iceveil Valley; Wall Climb required |
Wind sits on a raised platform reached by crossing icy paths, so the trip is a series of jumps rather than a climb.

The Insect trainer is easy to walk past. Follow the path over Windy Peak down to Butterfly Estate and check the second building, not the first.

Each style ends up playing quite differently once the training is done. Water Breathing leans on sweeping sword moves like Surface Slash.

Sound Breathing goes the other way, stacking hits with moves such as Bursting Bloom, Roar, and String Performance.

Unlocking Wall Climb early pays for itself here, since Thunder and Sound both sit behind vertical routes that are otherwise closed off. If you are heading for Thunder specifically, scout the plateau first, note the costs from the trainer’s dialogue, and farm afterwards rather than guessing at what you need.
