Entry requirements, capture rules, occupation buffs, and everything else that shipped with the Albern Warzone update.

Netmarble’s sci-fi MMORPG got its biggest PvP addition since the global launch with Outer Planet Occupation Battle: Albern Warzone, a three-faction territorial mode built for crowds rather than small squads. It sits inside the Outer Planet menu, runs on a fixed schedule, and hands out faction-wide buffs to whoever finishes on top. The catch is that it is gated behind a level requirement most new characters will not hit for a while.

Quick answer: Albern Warzone opens to characters at Lv. 68 or higher, holds up to 900 players at once — 300 from each of three matched servers — and is won by scoring points through the three occupation sites (A, B, C) plus the monster and boss hunting stages.

Albern Warzone entry requirements and player capacity

The mode is not open to everyone on your account. Entry is checked per character, and the 900-player figure is the ceiling for a single instance, not a queue target you need to fill.

Note: the battle only accepts entries during its scheduled windows. Outside those windows the entry button is inactive, so a Lv. 68 character showing “cannot enter” is usually looking at a timing problem rather than an eligibility one.

Where to find Albern Warzone in the menus

Open the main menu from the game world. This is the same panel that holds Inventory and the rest of your character screens, and it stays overlaid on the field so you do not need to return to a town.

Go to the Outer Planet interface. It lists the two Albern locations, Albern Crater and Albern Fortress, and this is where the occupation battle is launched from rather than from the standard dungeon list.
Check the entry conditions on that screen before the window opens. If your character is under Lv. 68, the screen will not let you queue, and no item or party workaround changes that.

How occupation scoring works

The map starts with neutral beacons. Points are earned by taking and holding the three occupation sites labelled A, B and C, so a faction that grabs one site early and then loses it gains far less than one that holds a single site for the whole battle. Because all three factions are in the same instance, a contested site can flip repeatedly.

Site capture is not the only source of score. The battle also runs monster and boss hunting stages, which means a faction that is being pushed off the capture points still has a way to close the gap by clearing field spawns and landing kills on the staged bosses. Splitting a 300-player server group between site defence and boss damage is the practical decision most factions end up making.

The payoff is the occupation buff. Winning the battle applies a faction-wide effect rather than a personal one, which is why the mode matters even to players who never fire a shot inside it.

Sacred Weapons and flight in large-scale fights

Sacred Weapons are the heavy hardware that separates a warzone fight from ordinary field PvP. The Launcher is the long-range option and delivers concentrated damage from a fixed firing position. The MAU is the close-range mech that pushes into formations and breaks defensive lines. The Animus is the largest of the three, a summoned unit meant to swing control of a contested area outright.

Every Biosuit can fly, and that changes how the capture sites are attacked. Approaching a beacon from above, dropping onto a defending back line, or repositioning across the map without walking the ground route are all normal tactics here. Flight also feeds into Sacred Weapon combos, which are designed to be used mid-air rather than only from a standing position.

Class choice is not locked in. The seven Biosuit classes can be swapped, and your equipment and skill growth carry over when you switch, so bringing a different role into a warzone rotation does not cost you progress.

Getting a character to Lv. 68

If you are starting fresh purely to reach the warzone, the route is the main campaign. Character creation begins with the Biosuit class preview — Punisher, Phantom, Enforcer, Psypher, Dreadnought, Technician and Arbiter — followed by the appearance editor, where presets give you a fast starting point before you fine-tune hair, face and costume.

The prologue sets up planet Novus and the war between Accretia, Bellato and Cora over Holy Stone resources. Story scenes run frequently through this stretch and can be skipped with the button in the top-right corner if you have seen them already.

Early quests move you through an Accretia base to pull mining data, then to a Cora position, and on to a Bellato site under bombardment. Flight is introduced along the way. The opening chapter closes with the Holy Stone Keeper, a fight that hands you an MAU mid-battle and then turns into a scripted escape as the chamber collapses.

After that, the AI entity Arca scans your character, registers the Scion gene, and assigns the long-running task of collecting Arcane Cores across Novus. This is also where you equip your first Rover companion before heading back out through the portal.

From there the level climb runs through main and faction quests, daily and weekly missions, dungeons, guild raids and open-world farming, all of which continue past the Lv. 68 line.

What else shipped with the Albern Warzone update

The occupation battle arrived as part of a wider content drop, and several of those additions feed directly into how well you perform in it.

Download and platform details

The game runs on mobile and PC with cross-platform play, and it is free to download with in-app purchases. It carries an 18+ content rating for extreme violence, player interaction and randomised in-game purchases. If you are installing on Android, the store listing is the one to use.

Albern Warzone is the clearest expression of what the game is built around: three factions, hundreds of players in one instance, and a scoreboard that hands a lasting buff to whoever holds ground longest. Reaching Lv. 68 is the only real barrier, and once you are past it the mode is a scheduled fixture rather than a one-off event.
