The Domino Crown is one of the oldest status symbols on Roblox, and the original is priced accordingly. Resale listings for the 2007 version sit in the tens of billions of Robux, which is why most players looking for one end up chasing the free lookalikes instead. Those do exist, but they come from experiences and live events rather than the Marketplace.

Quick answer: The original Domino Crown is never free. Free versions are UGC crowns given away inside experiences, either through task-based unlocks like the Gold Domino Crown in Teamwork Puzzles 2, or through badges earned by attending a Roblox live event in-game.

Teamwork Puzzles 2 hands out a free UGC limited crown to anyone who clears its three-part task board. Nothing here costs Robux, but it does take time, and the crown is a limited item, so stock and availability can end.

Join Teamwork Puzzles 2 and open the FREE UGC pop-up from the banner in the lobby. It lists all three requirements and tracks your progress on each one.

Like the experience, then work through the invite requirement. Open the Invite menu and send invites through it; the counter ticks up as invites are sent, and the people you invite do not have to join for it to count.

Complete all 31 levels. Several stages are built around cooperative button presses, so bring a friend or use the 2, 3, and 4 player portals in the lobby to fill out a group.

Open the REBIRTH menu on the right side of the screen and confirm five rebirths. Your rank changes as you go, moving from Newbie to Rookie and upward, which is the clearest sign the counter registered.

Note: The task board only credits progress made in-game. Liking or favoriting the experience from the website instead of the in-game prompt is a common reason a task stays unchecked.

How Roblox event giveaways hand out free crowns

The other free route is a live event. The Block, an experience run by Live on Roblox, hosted the Roblox Innovation Awards livestream and gave out four exclusive UGC items to viewers who watched inside the experience, including a neon-style Domino Crown alongside an axe, a flashlight, and a crowned duck. The in-game prompt spelled it out plainly: score up to four exclusive UGC rewards by watching the RIA livestream at The Block.

That RIA broadcast ran on September 12th, 2024 at 7PM PDT. There is no confirmed date for another Domino Crown giveaway at the moment, so treat the process below as the pattern to follow whenever a new drop is announced rather than something you can claim right now.

Press the Notify button on the event listing. Roblox then pushes you an alert when the livestream goes live, which matters because the rewards are tied to being present, not to claiming them afterwards.

Join the experience at the scheduled start time and stay in the lobby while the stream plays. Badges award as the broadcast runs, and each badge is what unlocks one of the free UGC items.

Leaving early is the usual failure point. If you disconnect partway through, you keep whatever badges already awarded but forfeit the ones tied to later segments, and there is no retroactive claim once the stream ends.

Check that the crown actually landed in your inventory

Free UGC items are delivered straight to your account, so there is no code to redeem. Open Avatar from the left-hand panel on the Roblox site, switch to the Heads or Accessories tab, and look for the crown in the list. Selecting it equips it immediately, and the avatar preview updates on the spot.

If it is not there, check your badges first. A missing badge means the requirement was not completed, and the item will not appear until the matching badge is awarded.

Once granted, the crown equips from the Heads tab of the avatar editor like any other accessory.

The cheap paid option if no giveaway is running

When no free drop is active, the closest thing to an affordable Domino Crown is the Platinum Domino Crown, a metallic version with three dominos in place of jewels. It was added on November 19th, 2024, costs 75 Robux, and has no stock limit, so it does not sell out. It is also non-tradable.

The same crown is bundled as a bonus with the 24,000 Robux pack, which runs $199.99 in the US and £199.99 in the UK. Two catches apply there: refunding the Robux removes the crown, and the bonus can only be claimed once, even if you buy the bundle again. Buying the 75 Robux version outright is the sensible route unless you wanted the Robux anyway.

The original will stay out of reach for almost everyone. Only seven copies remain in circulation out of the 25 that ever existed, its demand rating sits at the bottom of the scale, and the handful of sellers price it in the billions.
