Roblox Illegal Soccer: How to Get More Coins and Money

Coins are the only currency you earn by playing Illegal Soccer, and they are what unlock item rolls, jerseys, emotes, balls and goal effects. There is no daily login handout and no redemption menu to shortcut the grind, so every coin comes out of match time on the pitch.

Quick answer: Step on the Join Red or Join Blue pad in the lobby, stay in the match until the final whistle instead of leaving early, and rack up in-match actions like tackles — coins tick up on screen as you play, and a larger payout lands when the match ends, scaled by whether your team won.

How Coins are paid out in Illegal Soccer

Coins come from two places, and both require you to be inside a live match. The first is action-based: the game drops small coin rewards on screen while you play, including for tackling opponents. The second is the end-of-match payout, which is calculated once the timer runs out and depends on whether your team won or lost.

Levelling up also increases the coins you receive, so time spent in matches compounds rather than paying a flat rate forever. There are currently no redeemable codes for the game and no code redemption function built into it, so playing matches — and winning them — is the only route to a bigger balance without spending Robux.

Note: Matches hold up to four players per team, eight in total. Fewer players on the pitch means more touches, more tackles and more chances to be involved in the play that pays.

Join a match and start earning

From the lobby, walk to the team selection pads. Standing on the Join Red or Join Blue pad puts you into the next match on that side.
Once the match loads, get involved immediately. Chase loose balls, contest possession and look for tackle opportunities rather than standing back — passive play produces almost nothing.

Play through to the final whistle. Accumulated coins and rewards are handed over when the match concludes, so quitting midway costs you the end-of-match portion.
Press L to return to the lobby when you are done, then step back onto a team pad to queue again.

In-match actions that keep Coins coming

Staying near the ball is the whole job. Tackles are the clearest on-screen coin trigger, and everything that keeps you attached to the play — requesting passes, dribbling out of pressure, sprinting onto loose balls — gives you more chances to trigger one. Keybinds can be customised in settings, so check yours if these defaults do not match.

The “Dribble to dodge” prompt appears when an opponent commits to a tackle on you.

Timing matters more than volume. A tackle puts your character into a short recovery animation that stops your momentum, so swinging at every nearby opponent leaves you out of position and out of the play. Wait until a player is carrying the ball or about to reach it, then commit.

Because the end-of-match payout scales with the result, goals are still the priority. Passing across the field and shooting away from the goalkeeper’s position produces more goals than repeatedly driving at the keeper alone, and a win is worth more than a loss regardless of how busy your individual match was.

Checking that your Coins landed

Coin rewards appear on screen the moment they are triggered during play, so you get immediate confirmation while the match is running. The full total is credited at the end of the match, and you can confirm the new balance by returning to the lobby with L and opening the shop — the coin counter sits in the shop interface.

If the balance has not moved, the usual causes are short and specific. You left before the match concluded, you spent the match away from the ball without tackling or contesting possession, or you were knocked down and never confirmed the respawn prompt, which keeps you out of play while the clock runs.

What Coins buy: Daily Shop cosmetics and item rolls

Spending happens in two places. The Daily Shop sells cosmetics outright — jerseys, emotes, balls, goal effects and animations — at fixed coin prices that rotate. The “Your Items” tab, reached by pressing Z to open the shop menu, is where you roll for gameplay items.

Item roll1,000 (or 12 Robux)

Each roll costs 1,000 Coins and returns one of the featured items at random, weighted by rarity. Unlocked items then join the pool you can pull from when you collect a question block on the pitch, where you can equip up to three at a time. Common items such as Barricades, Energy Drink, Forcefield and Supercharge sit at a 12.5% chance each, while the Mythic Jetpack is the rarest at 1%.

Tip: A roll is roughly ten Daily Shop emotes’ worth of coins, and it is a chance-based pull rather than a direct purchase. If you want a specific cosmetic on display, buy it outright before gambling on the item pool.

The fastest coin income is simply full matches played aggressively — join a side, contest the ball, land tackles when they count, and see the game out to the whistle so the win bonus and level progress both register. Everything else, including the 12-Robux roll option, is optional on top of that.
