Roblox RIA 26: How to Get the Golden Rivals Domino Crown

The golden variants go to top leaderboard players in [RIA] The Block, while the plain blue items only need attendance.

The Golden Rivals Domino Crown is the top-tier reward tied to the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026, and it is not handed out for showing up. It sits behind the leaderboard inside [RIA] The Block, the official event experience run by the Live on Roblox group, and only players holding a top position when the show wraps walk away with it.

Quick answer: Join [RIA] The Block while the Roblox Innovation Awards event is live, stay on the main dance floor, and keep earning points through dancing, emotes, and clicking for as long as the show runs. Finish at the top of the in-game leaderboard and the Golden Rivals Domino Crown is granted to your account.

The reward structure splits by how much you participate, not by what you buy. The plain blue accessories are attendance rewards, granted for being present in the experience during the broadcast. The gold versions are performance rewards tied to leaderboard placement, which is why the crown’s own item description reads “For the player who came out on top. This item was awarded during RIA26.”

Note: the four plain items are the ones anyone can reliably claim by attending. Gold and silver tiers are distributed during the show itself, so there is no way to pick them up after the broadcast ends.

Event times for the Roblox Innovation Awards and RIA 26 Afterparty

Two separate sessions run inside the same experience. The main Roblox Innovation Awards show starts Sat, Sep 14 at 5:00 AM, and the RIA 26 Afterparty follows on Sun, Sep 15 at 4:00 AM. Leaderboard points are only meaningful while a session is live, so entering the experience outside those windows does nothing for the crown.

The experience page carries a Notify Me button on each event card. Turning it on for the awards show is the simplest way to avoid missing the start, since points accumulate over the full runtime and a late entry costs you placement.

How to climb the leaderboard for the golden items

Open the [RIA] The Block page on Roblox and check the About tab. The event cards for the awards show and the afterparty sit there, along with the Play button that launches the experience once a session is live.

Press Play to load into the experience while the event is running. The lobby drops you near the main stage area, and the HUD shows the current crowd size along with a prompt to build your setlist.

Walk onto the neon dance floor at the centre of the venue. Points are tied to activity on the floor, so standing in a side room or idling in the spawn area will not move your position.
Start dancing and cycle through emotes from the bar at the bottom of the screen. Mixing emotes and clicking keeps your character registering activity rather than going idle mid-show.

Stay in the same server for the full length of the show. Reaching the top of the leaderboard realistically takes hours of continuous participation, and leaving early hands your slot to someone still dancing.

How to confirm the crown was awarded

Event items land in your Roblox inventory rather than appearing as an in-game pickup. After the session ends, open your avatar inventory and check the Head Accessories category for Golden Rivals Domino Crown, and the Waist Accessories category for Golden Dueling Defenses. If the items are there, you can equip them immediately.

The plain items are tracked through badges earned for joining, so seeing those badges on your profile confirms attendance registered even if the gold tier did not. That distinction matters, because attendance and leaderboard placement are recorded separately.

Why the Golden Rivals Domino Crown does not unlock

Most misses come down to a handful of conditions rather than a bug. Each one is avoidable if you plan around the event window.

  • You joined outside the live event window, so no leaderboard points were being tracked.
  • You stayed in the experience but never moved onto the main dance floor.
  • You idled without dancing, emoting, or clicking, which stops points from accruing.
  • You left or got disconnected before the session finished, dropping your placement.
  • You finished on the leaderboard but not high enough for the gold tier, which lands you in the lower silver band instead.

The practical takeaway is that the gold tier rewards endurance more than skill. Anyone who logs in during the broadcast walks away with the blue Crown of Rivals and the rest of the plain set, but the Golden Rivals Domino Crown belongs to the small group that parks on the dance floor and keeps moving from the first minute of the awards show to the last.
