Where to find Infested Eggs in Steal an Egg
Infested Eggs are not a separate egg type you unlock. They are ordinary map eggs that have a purple parasite perched on top of them, and they only appear after an egg reset, in an unpredictable number. If an egg has no parasite on it, it is worthless to the Hungry Monster.
Infestations have a chance to show up in these biomes:

Sweep every area you have unlocked rather than camping one. Parasites also spawn at different sizes, and size is cosmetic here — a tiny parasite fills the same 20% as a huge one.

Why the Flyswatter grind fails
Almost every failed run comes down to one of a few specific things.
- The egg had no purple parasite on top, so it does nothing for the meter.
- The meter is short of 100%. Four feeds is 80% and pays out nothing.
- The egg was stolen or lost during the return trip.
- The chest simply rolled a boost. The other 95% of outcomes are the expected result.
