Steal An Egg on Roblox: How to Sell Eggs for Money

Selling eggs is the fastest way to turn a risky steal into usable cash in Steal An Egg. The system is simple once you know the trigger. You must be holding an egg when you interact with the SELL stand, and the game pays out based on the egg you carry.

Quick answer: Pick up an egg in a biome by pressing E, bring it back to the SELL stand, then press Yes! on the “Would you like to sell egg…” prompt to receive the cash.

You must be carrying an egg to sell

The SELL stand only works when an egg is equipped. If you walk up to it empty-handed and interact, the game blocks the sale and shows a “No item equipped.” message. Tap Ok! to dismiss it, then go grab an egg first.

This is the most common reason a sale does not go through. There is no separate confirmation for selling nothing. The stand simply refuses until you return holding an egg.

How to sell an egg at the SELL stand

Travel to a biome that holds eggs, such as the Forest, Lake, or Desert. Each zone spawns eggs tied to that area, and higher zones require more speed to enter safely.

Pick up an egg by pressing E when you are next to it. The game confirms the grab with a “You stole an EGG!” message, and a RUN!! prompt appears as the biome guardian starts chasing you.

Run straight back to your safe zone. If the guardian catches you, or another player hits you with a bat or bear trap, you drop the egg and lose it. Keep enough speed for the biome you entered so you can escape cleanly.

Read the pop-up, which names the egg and its payout, for example “Would you like to sell egg Lake Egg (3Kg) for $320?” Press Yes! to sell, or No to cancel and keep the egg.

You know the sale worked when the prompt closes and your money total goes up. A cash gain appears on screen, such as a +150K pop, and your balance updates to the new amount.

Egg values scale with weight and biome

Payouts are not fixed at a single price. Each egg carries a weight in kilograms, and eggs from tougher biomes pay far more. A light Lake Egg brings in a few hundred, while a heavy Desert Egg jumps into the millions.

Because value climbs with the biome, reaching higher zones is the main path to bigger sales. Access is gated by your movement speed, which you raise by training on the treadmill at your base.

Note: Entering a biome below its recommended speed lets the guardian catch and fling you, and any egg you are holding drops on the spot. Build enough speed before you try to sell eggs from a higher zone.

Why a sale fails and how to fix it

No item equipped: You are at the stand without an egg. Grab an egg with E and return before interacting.
Egg dropped on the run: A guardian, bat hit, or bear trap knocked the egg loose. Raise your speed for that biome, then steal again.
Prompt cancelled: Pressing No keeps the egg unsold. Interact again and choose Yes! to complete the sale.

Once the payout lands and your balance ticks up, the egg is gone and the cash is yours to spend on treadmill and base upgrades. From there, faster speed unlocks heavier eggs, and heavier eggs mean larger sales every time you reach the stand.
