In SCROOMS, Beekeeper’s Request is a side quest given by Jones at Songkeeper’s Grove. He is looking for one bee-like scroom—a Funglebee—and offers a generous reward when you bring one to him. Finding Jones and choosing the right dialogue options makes the quest quick to start.

Where to find Jones in Songkeeper’s Grove

Jones stands on a grass ledge next to the waterfall. Characters who have a quest for you float a green “?” above their heads, and Jones has one, so you can spot him from a short distance.

From the spawn signpost, walk past the red house on your right and bear left across the grass toward the campfire glowing in front of the waterfall.
Jump up the two stone steps with Space and keep climbing toward the upper left, where two orange beehives hang on a red tree trunk.
Jones is standing under the hives beside a table of honey, wearing a hat and a dark coat. Walk up until the “E Talk” prompt shows his name, then press E.
The E Talk Jones prompt appears next to Jones beneath the hanging beehives.

Dialogue choices that start the quest

Jones speaks three lines, and you need to select a reply each time. Give his text two or three seconds to finish appearing, then click the reply itself; clicking an empty area won’t move the conversation forward.

Jones opens with “Hey there! Would you be so kind as to help me out?” Click “1. Of course! What’s up?”
Selecting the reply 1. Of course! What's up? during the talk with Jones.
Picking “1. Of course! What’s up?” to answer Jones when he asks for help.
He explains a rumour about a scroom that looks like a bee, the Funglebee. Click “1. A Funglebee? You want me to catch one?”
Jones says he has long wanted to try its honey. Pick “1. I’m on it sir!” A notification appears with the text “Quest Started: Beekeeper’s Request”.

Quest objective and rewards

Open the Quest Log from hotbar slot 4 to confirm the quest landed. Beekeeper’s Request sits under “Side Quests” with the line “Jones the beekeeper wants me to catch and bring him a Funglebee.” The objective reads “Catch and give Jones a Funglebee. (0/1)”.

For this point in the game, the side quest pays out generously. The same-stage main quest, Tamer in Training, requires level 25 and awards 2,025 XP and 350 Chimes; Beekeeper’s Request gives you more currency.

Catching the Funglebee

The Funglebee is a Wondrous scroom found in Songkeeper’s Grove, and that is the rarity Jones wants. Wondrous scrooms show up much less often than the Bluebell and Redcap varieties common to the grove, so you probably won’t find one on your first pass.

The grass right around the spawn signpost is a poor spot. Over 106 catches there, no Funglebee turned up, so plan on a long grind or a different patch of the grove rather than farming the opening field.

How to confirm the quest started

From there, the entry appears under Side Quests in the Quest Log with its “(0/1)” counter, and that counter is what ticks up once you catch a Funglebee and hand it to Jones.
