Outfits in Splatoon Raiders change the mechanic’s entire look in one swap. There is no piece-by-piece clothing system like earlier Splatoon games, so each outfit is applied as a full set. There are 15 to collect in total, spread across free starters, challenge rewards, and amiibo unlocks.
Quick answer: Three outfits are available from the start, eight are earned by completing specific in-game objectives, and four come from scanning amiibo. Equip any unlocked outfit from the Style tab inside the Gear menu, opened with the plus (+) button.

Eight outfits are tied to in-game progress rather than luck. These reward normal play, so you will pick most of them up as you raid, upgrade gear, and develop your base. A few worth noting:
- Combat and gadget goals cover Seaweed Camo (develop three Power Tank gadgets) and the two crafting-style outfits, Plane Craft (clear five dens) and Hammer Craft (clear five Sampler Dungeons).
- Progression goals cover Sparkle Prism (reach level 10) and Red Paradise (reach Hideout Ship level 2).
- Weapon-focused goals cover Fishbone Punk (scrap 10 weapons at the Weapon Stash), Checkmate Punk (upgrade a weapon to level +5), and Super Squid Ink (power up any tank at the Mechanic’s Shack).
The outfit lands in your Style list as soon as the objective ticks over. There is no separate claim step to complete.
Outfits unlocked with amiibo
Four outfits come only from tapping amiibo figures. Three of them are tied to the Splatoon Raiders versions of Deep Cut, which release alongside the game and are sold separately. Scanning each figure unlocks the outfit inspired by that character.

The fourth amiibo outfit, Bite Waders, works differently. Any Splatoon series amiibo other than the new Splatoon Raiders figures grants it, so a wider pool of older figures can unlock this one.
| Outfit | amiibo needed |
|---|---|
| Shiver Outfit | Shiver (Splatoon Raiders amiibo) |
| Frye Outfit | Frye (Splatoon Raiders amiibo) |
| Big Man Outfit | Big Man (Splatoon Raiders amiibo) |
| Bite Waders | Any Splatoon series amiibo except the Splatoon Raiders figures |
How to equip an outfit
Any outfit that appears grayed out is still locked. If you cannot select one, its unlock condition has not been met yet. Hover over it to read exactly what is needed.
All 15 outfits are cosmetic. Your choice changes only the mechanic’s appearance and has no effect on tank stats, gadgets, or loot, so you can wear whichever set you prefer at any point during a run.
