Star Wars Zero Company: How to Unlock and Beat No Clone Left Behind

The exact chain that unlocks Trick's rescue mission, plus the squad and route that get everyone off the map alive.

The exact chain that unlocks Trick’s rescue mission, plus the squad and route that get everyone off the map alive.

No Clone Left Behind is a rescue mission in Star Wars Zero Company tied to Trick, the former Clone Trooper on your squad. It only appears after you complete an earlier holotable operation, and finishing it cleanly means getting Trick, Hawks, and the rescued clone Sawtooth to the evac point before you lose anyone for good.

Quick answer: Talk to Trick until around Cycle 5, agree to help, run the Contact Sawtooth operation from the Den’s Holotable, then start No Clone Left Behind with Hawks and Trick locked in. Reach Sawtooth in the upper-right, then rush everyone to the evac zone that opens on the left. As long as Hawks, Trick, and Sawtooth reach evac, the mission clears.

Unlock No Clone Left Behind through Trick’s side story

This mission is gated behind Trick’s personal storyline, which starts with regular conversation. Trick is the first companion to bring you a problem, and each chat between missions plays out as a short cutscene that pushes his arc forward.

Check in with Trick in the Den after your missions. Keep talking to him across early cycles so his story keeps advancing.
Around Cycle 5, Trick tells you about a fellow clone trapped behind enemy lines and asks for help. Agree to assist. This unlocks the holotable operation Contact Sawtooth.
Go to the Holotable and start Contact Sawtooth. You’ll pick one of two setups for establishing comms.
Comms optionTrade-off
Set up in a secure areaSafer approach, no injuries expected
Set up as close as possible to Sawtooth’s distress signalFaster contact, but operators may take injuries you can heal in the medbay
Send in the two operators the operation requires. Either choice works. If your pair picks up injuries on the close approach, drop them in the medbay afterward. Completing Contact Sawtooth unlocks No Clone Left Behind.

Squad setup: Hawks and Trick are mandatory

Two slots are locked before you deploy. Hawks and Trick both have to come, so plan your remaining two picks around whatever abilities your Hawks build brings.

OperatorStatusRole
HawksMandatoryMust survive to evac
TrickMandatoryMust survive to evac
KabbRecommendedMelee attacks, clears a path forward
JaeRecommendedRanged fire from a high-visibility spot

Kabb is strong for pushing through enemies in close, while Jae works best parked somewhere with good sightlines to pick off targets from range.

No Clone Left Behind walkthrough

The map splits your objective in two. Sawtooth sits in the upper-right corner, and once you reach him the evac zone opens on the left side of the map. The whole mission is a race to close both distances without losing operators.

Send two operators toward the right to reach Sawtooth. Hawks and Trick are a natural pair for this half, since both need to survive anyway.
Push your other two operators forward at the same time. Keep them moving so they aren’t stranded when the evac point appears.
While Hawks and Trick advance, use the assist mechanic between them. This is a good early spot to build their bond through coordinated attacks.
Reach Sawtooth to trigger the evac area on the left. Start moving your two forward operators toward it right away, clearing enemies in their path.
Send one of the operators who reached Sawtooth ahead to help wipe out enemies near the evac route. Then have everyone make a straight line for the evac zone.
Ignore the reinforcements where you can. From this point the only thing that matters is getting your operators to evac, not clearing the map.

Who has to survive, and what a mistake costs

Only Hawks, Trick, and Sawtooth are required to reach the evac point. The moment those three are ready, you can pull everyone out, even if the rest of your squad is still in the field.

The catch is permanent. Any operator you leave behind at evac is gone for the rest of the campaign, no matter how healthy they are or how many injuries they’ve stacked. Injuries themselves can be treated in the medbay back at the Den, but being abandoned on the map cannot be undone.

Note: If you’d rather not risk your recommended pair, you can still clear the mission by evacuating only the three required characters. Just make sure Kabb, Jae, or whoever you brought is inside the evac zone before you finish, or you lose them.

You’ll know the mission worked when the objective updates to complete after your required operators reach evac and the operation closes out. With everyone extracted, Trick’s rescue arc resolves and Sawtooth is safely off the battlefield.
