Steal an Egg: How to Get Max Speed Fast on a New Account

The exact treadmill, multiplier, and trail order that takes a fresh save from 10 speed to over a billion.

The exact treadmill, multiplier, and trail order that takes a fresh save from 10 speed to over a billion.

A fresh Steal an Egg save drops you in the Forest with 10 speed and no cash, which is enough to chase a chicken and nothing else. Speed is the only stat that decides how far down the map you can reach, and it scales through three stacking systems that all live within a short walk of your base. Rebuilt in the right order, a new account can pass 1 billion speed in a few minutes.

Quick answer: Push the treadmill up to Level 9 (Demonic, 799 Robux), buy every Speed Multiplier tier in sequence, then equip the Divine Trail for a x14 movement multiplier. Your speed counter in the bottom-left corner should cross 1 billion while you are still standing on the treadmill.

Fresh account speed route in purchase order

Order matters here because the treadmill sets the base number and everything else multiplies it. Buying trails or multipliers before the treadmill is upgraded scales a very small number.

Finish the tutorial line. Steal a basic egg from the chicken in the Forest, carry it back, and drop it into the pen so the starter pet hatches and starts generating cash.
Buy the $24,000 cash pack for 49 Robux. That single purchase covers the pen unlock and the first treadmill upgrade without any early grinding.
Step onto the treadmill and upgrade it to Level 2 for $15,000. Gains jump from +2 speed per step to +20, which is the first point where the counter moves at a usable rate.

Open the shop and work through the Speed Multiplier tiers from the bottom up. Each tier doubles the previous multiplier, starting at 3 Robux for Tier 1 (2x) and climbing to 649 Robux for Tier 10 (1024x).

Keep upgrading the treadmill in parallel. The Robux tiers run Flame, Celebrity, Golden, Ice Power, Lucky Black, Hacker, and Demonic, with a max-level treadmill sitting above that.
Visit the Trail Shop on the right side of the safe zone and buy the strongest trail you can afford. The Divine Trail is the top option at 999 Robux or $300 trillion in cash, and it multiplies your base movement speed by 14.
Stay on the treadmill until the counter clears the biome you want to hit. With the Demonic treadmill and maxed multipliers, each step is worth roughly a million speed, so 1 billion arrives quickly.

Treadmill levels and speed per step

The treadmill always spawns directly in front of your base and is the only source of speed that never runs out. Every level increases the amount of speed you bank per step, and the difference between the first and last tier is roughly six orders of magnitude.

Note: night is the one window where stealing is off the table, so it is the cheapest time to stand on the treadmill and bank steps.

Speed Multiplier tiers and Robux prices

Multipliers apply to the treadmill number, not to your movement. Each tier is a separate purchase and they stack in sequence, so the value of a high tier depends entirely on how good your treadmill already is. The ladder continues past Tier 10 to a max tier.

Tier 9512x499

There is also a Speed Shop that sells flat speed packs for Robux, ranging from +150K up to +1B. Those are a shortcut into a specific biome rather than a long-term scaler, since they do not raise anything you earn later.

Trail costs and movement speed multipliers

Trails look cosmetic but they multiply how fast your character actually moves across the map, which is what decides whether a guardian catches you. Every trail can be bought with in-game cash or Robux, so a patient free player eventually reaches the same x14 as a paying one. Buying the intermediate trails is largely wasted cash if you plan to save for Divine.

Speed required for every biome

Nothing blocks you at a biome border. The number posted at each nest only matters on the way out, once the guardian wakes up and starts chasing you. The single largest jump on the map is Prehistoric to Cosmic, where the requirement goes from 18M to 700M.

Egg weight cancels part of your speed

This is where most runs die. Picking up a large egg slows your character immediately, and the posted requirement does not account for that weight. Hitting the exact minimum and grabbing the biggest egg in the nest is the reliable way to get caught.

Aim for roughly 15 to 20 percent above the listed number for heavy eggs, and closer to double it if you want a clean escape every time. A 700M Cosmic run, for example, comfortably wants 840M for the heaviest eggs in the pool.

Where you get caught tells you what to fix. A capture near your base means you are only slightly short and a better trail closes the gap. A capture halfway home means you need more treadmill time before trying again. Getting caught inside the biome you stole from sends the egg back to the nest, while getting caught in a biome closer to home leaves the egg on the ground where anyone can grab it.

Turning speed into cash per second

Speed on its own earns nothing. Income comes from pets sitting in your pen, so every speed milestone needs to be converted into eggs from a deeper biome, and the pen has to be upgraded to hold them. Instant Hatch costs 19 Robux for two eggs or 149 for seven, which is worth spending on high-tier eggs and not much else.

Judge pets by the income figure, not the rarity colour. A Legendary from an early biome can be worth less than a lower rarity from a deep one, and pens fill up fast. For scale, a Silver Cosmic Gecko pays $260K/s, a Snowy Owl $6.6M/s, a Koi $12M/s, and a Secret Shark $34M/s. Clear weak pets out before you go stealing, otherwise the good egg has nowhere to go.

What a 30-minute Robux restart realistically hits

The ceiling on this route is income, not speed. A half-hour rebuild that maxes the treadmill line, buys every multiplier tier, and equips the Divine Trail lands around 3.4 billion speed, which is enough for Cherry Blossom but short of Titan Temple. The pen over the same window reached about $225 million per second, well under a $1 billion per second target.

The gap exists because pets are gated behind repeated round trips and hatch timers, and each trip is slowed by whatever egg you are carrying. Speed compounds instantly with a purchase; income only compounds once eggs are back in the pen and hatched.

You will know the speed half is working when the counter beside the shoe icon in the bottom-left clears the number posted at your target biome with margin to spare, and when you can carry a heavy egg back without the guardian closing in. If it keeps closing in, the fix is another treadmill level or a better trail, not another attempt at the same nest.
