Steal an Egg: How to Make Eggs Grow Faster in Roblox

Eggs in Steal an Egg sit in your pen and grow over time before you can hatch them into money-earning pets. If you want that wait to shrink, the game gives you one free in-menu control and one paid upgrade that speeds up every egg you own.

Quick answer: Open the Growing Eggs menu on the right side of the screen and tap Grow All to push all incubating eggs forward. For a permanent boost, buy the x2 Growth pass from the Shop’s PASSES tab for 467 Robux to double egg growth speed.

Use the Grow All button in the Growing Eggs menu

The fastest free way to move eggs along is the Growing Eggs menu. It lists every egg currently incubating in your pen and gives you a single button that advances them all at once.

Fly or walk to your pet pen so your eggs are nearby. The controls only apply to eggs you already own and have placed to grow.

Click the egg icon on the right side of the screen to open the Growing Eggs menu. If you see the warning “You have no growing eggs!”, you first need to bring an egg back and place it to incubate.

Press Grow All to speed up every egg that is currently incubating. Repeat it as it becomes available to keep pushing your eggs toward completion.

Note: Grow All acts on all eggs at the same time, so it is most useful when your pen is full rather than when you are growing a single egg.

Buy the x2 Growth pass for a permanent speed boost

If you want every egg to grow faster from now on without pressing a button each time, the x2 Growth game pass permanently doubles incubation speed. It is a one-time Robux purchase found in the Shop.

Click the Shop button on the left side of the screen to open the in-game store.

Scroll to the PASSES section of the Shop, where the game pass upgrades are listed.

Select x2 Growth, described in-game as “Eggs Grow x2 faster!”, and complete the purchase for 467 Robux. Once owned, it applies automatically to every egg you grow.

The PASSES tab also holds the x2 Money pass at 399 Robux, which doubles cash earnings rather than growth speed. The two are separate purchases, so buying one does not grant the other.

Hatch grown eggs and equip your best pets

Growing an egg only matters once you cash it in. When an egg finishes, the Growing Eggs menu shows an OPEN option that hatches it into a pet.

Open the Growing Eggs menu again and click OPEN on a fully grown egg. A hatch notification confirms the result, for example “Ready! Golden Brr Brr Patapim +4K $4K/s”.

Open your pet inventory and use Equip Best, which automatically slots your highest-earning pets. Pets drive your passive income, so keeping the top earners active raises your cash per second.

If you press Equip Best too quickly in a row, the game may show “Please wait a bit before equipping bests again!”. You also need to be near your pen to place pets, or you will see “Get closer to your Pen to place pets!”.

Get new eggs to grow by stealing from outer zones

Growth speed only helps if you have eggs to grow. New eggs come from the outer zones, and reaching them depends on your Speed stat. Each zone shows a recommended Speed, such as the Desert’s “6K recommended”.

Travel outward through the Forest and Lake zones to reach the Desert. Higher zones hold bigger eggs and more valuable pets.

Use a trap to steal an egg from a sleeping creature, such as a scorpion in the Desert. Taking the egg triggers a “RUN!!” chase, and you must escape back to your safe zone pen to keep it.

Place the returned egg in your pen to start it incubating, then apply Grow All or the x2 Growth pass to speed it along. Securing eggs also raises your offline earnings, shown by messages like “You earn $16M/Day offline!”.

To reach farther zones and outrun protectors, raise your Speed by training on the Treadmill, equipping higher-tier Trails, and claiming Index rewards from new pets. Trails act as a Speed multiplier that increases how much Speed you gain per second, ranging from the Grey Trail at x1.5 up to the Divine Trail at x14. Robux Speed boosts are also available, from +150K Speed for 79 Robux up to +1B Speed for 2999 Robux, though they are optional.

Between Grow All for instant progress and the x2 Growth pass for a lasting boost, you can keep a steady flow of hatched pets. Pair that with a full pen and a fast escape route, and each egg you grow turns into more income to fund your next upgrade.
