Storage Hunters on Roblox scatters its quest givers across the whole map, from the starter Junk Yard all the way out to Lucky Beach and the Shipyard. Each one hands out gems, cash, and luck for completing area-specific auction and collection tasks, and several only appear during limited events. Below is every known quest NPC, exactly where they stand, what you need to reach them, and the rewards they pay.
Quick answer: Start with Billy in the Junk Yard, then follow the net worth gates outward. Sal opens at $750, the Black Market Guy at $5,000, Ted and the Fishing Pond at $10,000, the Engineer at $7,500, Steve at $100,000, Surf-Man and the Tollbooth Guard at $2,500,000, and Michael at $17,500,000.

Billy is the first NPC you meet, standing in the Junk Yard. He introduces auctions, selling, and repairs, and his quest line runs deep, from a simple Junk Yard Starter task all the way to Junk Yard Legend. The chain repeats and evolves as you climb, so the gem payouts stack the longer you grind. Here are his early tasks and rewards.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Junk Yard Starter | Win 1 Junk Yard auction; sell 3 Junk Yard items | +$50, 10 Gems |
| Junk Collector | Win 3 Junk Yard auctions; sell 5 Junk Yard items | +$90, 15 Gems |

Bobby stands just outside the west entrance of the Junk Yard and gives quests that reward permanent luck. His tasks are tied to Terry across the map, so you will bounce between the two.

| Feed Bobby | Hand 5 food items to Bobby | +3% Luck |
| Water Tank Delivery | Deliver the water tanks to Terry; clean them first if dirty | +2% Luck |

Back Alley: Sal, the Black Market Guy, and the basketball players
Sal handles mid-tier progression in the Back Alley, and his line opens at $750 net worth. Like Billy, he repeats and grows through tougher item and condition targets.

Two basketball quest givers stand at the Basketball Court in front of the Back Alley. Basketball Player 6 wants six basketballs, which drop as uncommon items from the Junkyard. Basketball Player 7 wants seven basketball rings and requires $3,000 net worth to start.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Bouncing Around | Find 6 basketballs in auctions | +$250, 10 Gems, 2 Calculators, 2 X-Ray Visions, 2 Kicks, 1 Luck Drink 1 |
| Hoop Hunter | Find 7 basketball rings in auctions | 30 Gems, 1 Luck Drink 2 |
Note: The basketball task is one of the toughest early quests because those uncommon drops are slow. Lowering your luck stat raises uncommon drop rates, which speeds up the grind.

Gas Station Man

Terry lives in the orange house across from the Farmyard, and his single quest ties into Bobby’s luck chain.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Fix Bobby’s Truck | Deliver a Car Battery and a Sledge Hammer | +4% Luck |
The Fishing Pond NPC stands on the dock past the Farmyard and also needs $10,000 net worth. Fishing requires a rod from Farmyard auctions, which comes in rare, epic, and legendary tiers. Higher rarity means more catches per session.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |

| Fifty Finds | Fish up 50 items | 30 Gems, 1 Luck Drink |

Steve is a late-game quest giver in the Shipyard and needs $100,000 net worth just to reach him. | Finish the Business Bay Plots | Find a Bulldozer in the Farmyard and a Construction Crane in Business Bay | 3 available plots in Business Bay |

Warehouse and Police Station: Tim and Mike
Tim runs Delivery Orders at the Warehouse. You pick an Easy, Medium, or Hard request, then find and hand over the exact item asked for. The cash reward changes per order, while the gem reward is fixed by difficulty.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Easy Delivery | Deliver the exact item requested | 2 Gems |
| Medium Delivery | Deliver the exact item requested | 3 Gems |
| Hard Delivery | Deliver the exact item requested | 10 Gems |
Mike sits inside the Jail at the Police Station as part of the Police Update. You gather jailbreak supplies and dig him out. After escaping, he sets up a repeatable Bank Heist over in the Back Alley.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Jailbreak Supplies | Find a Spoon and a Home Carpet | None |
| Dig Mike Out of Jail | Dig Mike out of jail | +7% Luck |
Jurassic and Alien Invasion event NPCs
Kyle and Annie appear only during the Jurassic event in the Jurassic Area. Kyle stands in front of a tent and opens the Jurassic Collection Index, giving quests that reward gems and drinks. Annie stands near the Prehistoric Car stand and runs the chain that leads to the car itself.
Annie’s first task is to find and repair three Broken Prehistoric Items, followed by finding 12 Jurassic-themed items. Only after both are done does she give the quest to find the Prehistoric Car, and the car will not appear before that.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Steady Hands | Repair 3 Jurassic limited items | TBA |
| The Big Find | Find the Prehistoric Car | 1 Prehistoric Car |
The Alien Boss is the main quest giver during the Alien Invasion event. Found in the event area, this NPC shows the Alien Invasion collection and pays out gems, alien potions, and Alien Coins across a long list of Alien Garage auction tasks. Early entries look like this.
| Quest | Requirements | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| First Contact | Win 5 Alien Garage auctions | 5 Gems, 1 Unlimited Xray Alien Potion, 10 Alien Coins |
| Little Green Errands | Win 10 auctions; find 3 Alien Limited items | 5 Gems, 1 Auction Rush Potion, 10 Alien Coins |
| Specimen Collection | Find 10 Alien Limited items | 10 Gems, 1 Alien Customers Potion, 1 Certificate of Alienticity, 10 Alien Coins |
Note: Event NPCs are only around while their event is live. If Kyle, Annie, or the Alien Boss are missing from the map, the matching event has ended.

The repeating quest givers at Billy, Sal, Ted, and Steve are worth returning to even when the tasks feel grindy, since their chains evolve into larger auction targets rather than looping forever. Steve’s quest, for example, switches from 90 small container auctions to 15 large container ones once you cross the milestone. Follow the net worth gates in order, stack quests where you can, and the gems and luck build up faster than any single task suggests.
