The Division 2 Stretch Goals Guide: Into The Dark Rewards and Best Farm

Everything the Y8S2 bonus track hands out past Season Pass Tier 100, plus the quickest ways to keep leveling.

The Into the Dark Stretch Goals track opened on August 18, 2026, and it stays live until Year 8 Season 2 ends. It is the endgame version of the Season Pass: once the normal 100 tiers are done, every additional level keeps paying out, and the payouts loop forever.

Quick answer: Hit Tier 100 of the Into the Dark Season Pass, then keep earning Season Pass XP. Each level past 100 grants one reward from a fixed 10-tier loop, and every tenth level in that loop drops a Prestige Into the Dark Cache with guaranteed vanity and named item rolls.

How to unlock the Stretch Goals track

There is one requirement, and it is not negotiable: Tier 100 on the seasonal track. Below that, Stretch Goals does not exist for your account. Above it, progression simply continues, and the game starts feeding you the bonus tiers instead of the standard Season Pass rewards.

You will know it worked when the Season Pass screen shows a bonus reward page beyond Tier 100 with the ten looping tiers on it. Claim Tier 10, and the counter resets to Tier 1 on your very next Season Pass level.

Note: caches land in your inventory unopened, so clear out space before a long farming session. If your stash is full, the reward has nowhere to go.

Best ways to farm Season Pass XP for Stretch Goals

Spend Textiles to buy 10 tiers at a time

Textiles are the fastest route, and they cost you no playtime at all. You collect them from duplicate cosmetics pulled out of Apparel Caches. Spending 3,000 Textiles pushes you through 10 Stretch Goals tiers, and you can repeat that purchase five times. That is 15,000 Textiles for 50 bonus tiers, taking you to 150 total Season Pass levels.

Bank Manhunt Scout missions for bulk XP

Each seasonal Manhunt Scout mission pays 2,000 Season Pass XP, which is worth two full levels. Year 8 Season 2 has nine Scout missions in total, so agents who deliberately left them uncompleted are sitting on a large lump of instant progress. Turning them in during the Stretch Goals window converts that backlog straight into caches.

Priority Objectives and the active x2 XP window

Priority Objectives are the default grind, and they live in the same menu as the Season Pass, Event Pass, and Seasonal Journey. A Season Pass XP x2 multiplier is running from August 18 through August 27, doubling XP earned from Priority Objectives, the Seasonal Journey, Weekly Projects, Manhunt Scouts, and general world activities. Anything you can hold until that window doubles in value.

Every Stretch Goals tier reward in order

Ten tiers, then it starts over. Four of them are the seasonal Into the Dark caches that carry the event-exclusive loot, one is the upgraded Prestige version, and the rest are crafting and recalibration materials.

Into the Dark Cache vs Prestige cache drop rates

Both caches pull from the same four loot pools. The Prestige version does not add new items, it just removes the coin flips. Vanity and named item rolls become guaranteed, and both exotic pools get a five-times bump.

Rare Named Item pool

The standard cache draws from 19 named items with weighted odds, so Lexington and Stack Broker are the most common hits. The Prestige pool is trimmed to 11 items with even weighting, which means the holiday-themed pieces cannot appear there at all.

Seasonal Exotic pool

Seven exotics share this pool, each at 14.2% once the pool is rolled. It is the easiest way to pick up a second copy of the season’s headline gear.

  • Caduceus
  • Nurse’s Kneepads
  • Nemesis
  • Liberty
  • Chatterbox
  • Dodge City Gunslinger’s Holster
  • Ridgeway’s Pride

Rare Exotic Item pool

This is the jackpot tier, and it is deliberately rare. Twelve exotics sit here at an even 8.33% each, including raid-tier gear that normally demands a specific activity. A standard cache reaches this pool 0.5% of the time; a Prestige cache reaches it 2.5% of the time.

  • Regulus
  • Eagle Bearer
  • Ravenous
  • Bighorn
  • Ouroboros
  • Provocator
  • Birdie’s Quick Fix
  • Tinkerer
  • Tempest
  • Blacklisters
  • Sheriff
  • Whiplash

Breathless Outfit and other vanity rewards

The cosmetic side of the track covers 12 pieces in total: five parts of the Breathless Outfit, four arm patches, and three weapon skins. Standard caches roll this pool half the time, while Prestige caches always deliver a vanity item. Duplicates are not wasted either, since they convert back into Textiles, which is exactly the currency you spend to skip further Stretch Goals tiers.

The practical takeaway is simple. Tiers 2, 4, 6, 8, and especially 10 are the ones carrying the exclusive loot, so the whole exercise is about cycling those ten levels as many times as possible before the season closes. Front-load your Manhunt Scouts and Priority Objectives while the doubled XP is running, keep inventory space clear, and treat Textiles as the reserve you cash in when the grind stalls.
