Unlock the Golden Hall in Genshin Impact (Frost Moon)

The Golden Hall is a subarea tucked inside the Lunar Highlands, part of the Frost Moon region. There is only one way in: the High-Speed Transit Lane terminal at the Archaeolune Storm Research Center. Reaching that terminal means clearing a short chain of energy-barrier and Ancient Moon Pearl puzzles first.

What the Golden Hall is and where it sits

The Golden Hall is an isolated pocket within the Lunar Highlands in Frost Moon. You cannot walk or glide to it directly. It is gated behind the puzzle route inside the Archaeolune Storm Research Center, and the only access point is the High-Speed Transit Lane. Clearing the full sequence rewards you with several chests and opens a teleport waypoint for easy return trips.

Clear the Archaeolune Storm Research Center puzzles

Teleport to the Archaeolune Storm Research Center and head straight ahead until you meet an energy barrier. Use Archaeolune Energy to punch a hole through it, then step into the chamber. Take the passage on the right and keep moving until you enter a second, larger chamber.

As soon as you reach the large chamber, turn to your right. There is another energy barrier here. Open a hole in it with Archaeolune Energy and enter the room behind it.

Inside the room you will find a set of Ancient Moon Pearls and a Pearl Launcher. Load one pearl into the launcher, open a hole in the room’s energy barrier, then fire the pearl through that hole so it lands outside.

Leave the room and carry the launched Ancient Moon Pearl across to the Power Supply on the far side of the chamber. Placing it there opens a gate leading to the next area of the research center.

In the third area, place the Ancient Moon Pearl on the Power Supply once more. This shifts the Storm Occlusion Field. Follow the field toward the launcher and stay inside the blue zone the entire way, because stepping outside exposes you to the storm.

Reach the High-Speed Transit Lane terminal

Step into the launcher and activate it. It fires you up to the upper level, where a lift terminal is waiting. Use the terminal to call the lift and ride it to the top level.

Climb the stairs at the top and grab the Precious Chest waiting there. Beside it is the High-Speed Transit Lane terminal. Interact with it to travel straight to the Golden Hall.

Once you arrive, unlock the nearby teleport waypoint. You are in the Golden Hall the moment the transit lane finishes moving you, and the new waypoint confirms it by appearing on your map for future fast travel.

Trigger the secret Moon Sisters cutscene

The Golden Hall hides an extra reward beyond its chests. A Frostnight Scion is present in the area, and dealing with it opens the path to a special scene.

Defeat the Frostnight Scion, then interact with the foggy object beneath the pillar. Doing so summons a boat to the island. Board the boat and ride it, and the game plays a hidden cutscene featuring the Moon Sisters.

Keep the storm rule in mind throughout the run. The Storm Occlusion Field is your only safe corridor once you place the pearl on the second Power Supply, so match its pace and never drift outside the blue boundary. With the waypoint set, returning to the Golden Hall later is a single fast-travel jump.
