Valorant 13.06 release date

Patch 13.06 goes live on September 22, 2026, timed to drop just ahead of Valorant Champions in Shanghai. The patch is releasing during Season 26, Act V, so it adds content to the current competitive period rather than opening a new Act.

Warden rifle: price, damage, and stats

The Warden is a new automatic rifle that joins the Vandal and Phantom at the top of the buy menu. It costs 2,900 credits, the same price tier as the two existing full-buy rifles, and it is the first automatic rifle in Valorant to ship with a built-in 2x scope.

AttributeDetail
Price2,900 credits
Weapon classRifle
Magazine18 rounds
Ammo reserve36
Damage per bullet50 body, 200 headshot, 42 leg (all ranges)
Fire rate6.5 rounds per second
ScopeBuilt-in 2x magnification

Reload time2.5 seconds

The Warden is designed around a stronger aim-down-sights option, giving you a way to hold long sightlines with first-shot accuracy without switching to a full sniper rifle. Riot’s stated goal is to add another viable primary weapon for players who want a long-range profile while keeping the flexibility of a rifle on buy rounds.

Gauntlet: Glitched mode

Gauntlet: Glitched is a new experimental mode that puts eight teams of two into a tournament-style round robin, playing until one team remains. Instead of picking a standard Agent, you build your own hybrid Robo-Agent by drafting abilities from a randomized pool.

As a match goes on, you upgrade the abilities that suit your playstyle, so builds differ every game. Random “glitches” can also change how familiar abilities work, producing unusual combinations that reward experimentation. The mode launches inside Patch 13.06, just before Champions.

Agent Mastery system replaces Agent Gear

The Agent Mastery system takes over from the old Agent Gear progression tracks. Progress is tied to both playtime and performance with a specific Agent, and it is designed to give you goals to chase across your whole account and within each Act.

You earn Mastery Points (MP) mainly from time played on an Agent, with bonuses for performance and match results. A new customizable Agent ID lets you show which Agent you main. You can adjust several parts of it:

  • Backgrounds
  • Poses
  • Frames
  • Quotes
  • Trackers such as kills, hours played, and games won

There are two tracks. A lifetime mastery track unlocks portraits, icons, borders, player cards, sprays, and other cosmetics for long-term dedication. A separate Act level track resets each Act and awards Agent portrait upgrades, giving a quick read on which Agents you have been playing recently.

When the switch happens, any Agent Gear rewards you already unlocked carry over, and anything you have not unlocked yet remains available on the new tracks.

Competitive updates and the 2027 Competitive Flex

Competitive progression is getting several changes aimed at showing off achievements more clearly. Competitive profile improvements, including better ways to track your ranked journey, arrive with Patch 13.06.

A new reward called the Competitive Flex begins with the start of the 2027 season. It evolves through the year based on your ranked achievements and unlocks additional upgrades each Act, compiling your year-long climb into a single reward.

Other changes in Valorant 13.06

Alongside the headline additions, the patch brings a set of smaller updates:

  • An updated home screen with a refreshed look and feel.
  • Access to the Practice Range while you wait in the matchmaking queue.
  • Console launches in Australia and New Zealand.
  • A new Agent planned for release after Champions.

Taken together, 13.06 changes both the moment-to-moment gameplay and how you track long-term progress, with the Warden and Gauntlet: Glitched arriving on September 22 and the Competitive Flex following at the start of the 2027 season.
