Changchun Hall sits inside the Kaifeng Imperial Palace, the large palace district added to Where Winds Meet in version 1.7. Like the rest of the map, this hall holds a set of oddities, the special collectibles that feed into the Melodies of Peace upgrade system. Picking them up is purely an exploration task. The challenge is finding each pin inside the palace grounds and then knowing where to cash them in.

What oddities do in Where Winds Meet
Oddities are collectible items used to upgrade your Melodies of Peace. Turning them in raises the talent tied to those melodies, which improves performances and grants effects such as stat boosts and arts. Each region keeps its own oddity set and its own collector, so the ones you gather inside Kaifeng Imperial Palace, including Changchun Hall, belong to the Kaifeng pool rather than the Qinghe or Hexi pools.
Collecting them does not require combat or a puzzle chain. You travel to each marked spot, interact with the oddity, and it is added to your count. Progress is tracked per area, so a hall like Changchun can be cleared in a single focused pass once you know the layout.
Where Changchun Hall fits in the palace
Kaifeng Imperial Palace is split into three larger areas: the Outer Court, the Inner Chambers, and the Central Bureaus. Changchun Hall is one of the named halls within this complex, which also includes spots such as Chongyuan Hall, Wenming Hall, Chongde Hall, Funing Hall, Baoci Hall, Kunning Hall, and Qingshou Hall. Because every hall shares the Kaifeng oddity system, anything you grab in Changchun Hall counts toward the same Melodies of Peace upgrades as the other palace halls.

Where to exchange Kaifeng oddities
The collector for everything you pull out of the palace and the wider Kaifeng region is Bai Ji. He is the Oddity Vendor stationed at the northwest edge of Kaifeng City, right beside the Palace of Supreme Oneness. He will not trade with you until you have completed the Exploration Quest Oddity: Mystery of Five Tones, so clear that quest before hauling a full bag of collectibles across the city.
The other regions use different collectors, which is worth remembering if you are also exploring outside Kaifeng.
| Region | Oddity collector | Location | Unlock requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kaifeng | Bai Ji | Northwest Kaifeng City, by the Palace of Supreme Oneness | Complete Oddity: Mystery of Five Tones |
| Qinghe | Qi Sheng | Southeast of General's Shrine, west of Wayfarer in Verdant Wilds | Available on arrival |
| Hexi | Qi Xian | In Karez, north of the Karez boundary stone | Complete Melodies of Peace: Hexi |
How to collect Changchun Hall's oddities
Step 1: Fast travel to the Kaifeng Imperial Palace and make your way into Changchun Hall. Clearing one hall at a time keeps your route tight and avoids backtracking across the palace.
Step 2: Work through the hall's interior and immediate grounds, interacting with each oddity pin as you reach it. Check upper floors, side rooms, and raised ledges, since palace collectibles are often tucked off the main walkway.
Step 3: Once you believe the hall is empty, head to Bai Ji and hand over your Kaifeng oddities to upgrade the matching Melodies of Peace talent.

How to confirm the hall is cleared
You will know an oddity registered when it is removed from the world and added to your collection count. When every pin in Changchun Hall has been picked up, that area reads as fully collected in your tracking screen, the same way other completed halls do. If your count still shows a gap, you have missed a spot inside the hall rather than somewhere else in the palace.
If Bai Ji refuses to trade, the usual cause is that Oddity: Mystery of Five Tones has not been completed yet. Finish that Exploration Quest first, then return to him to spend your collectibles.

Treat Changchun Hall as one stop on a larger Kaifeng Imperial Palace sweep. Clear its oddity pins, keep them flowing to Bai Ji, and each turn-in pushes your Melodies of Peace talent a little higher, which is the whole point of chasing oddities in the first place.
