The Chamber of Derivation is a Landmark Teleport point on the Mountain: Heaven’s Threshold map in Where Winds Meet. Activating it adds a permanent fast-travel node to your map, but the signpost that unlocks it sits at the top of a climbing route with no direct path from the nearest fast-travel point. The fastest way in starts at the Welkin Way teleport near Cloudstair and works up through rooftops, rope bridges, and rock walls to a large water wheel.
Quick answer: Fast travel to Welkin Way, then head forward through the wooden archway and climb up through the platforms, rooftops, and rock walls until you reach the water wheel. Scale the wall beside the wheel, then interact with the Signpost on the upper platform to unlock the Chamber of Derivation.
Before you start: requirements and starting point
You need the Welkin Way Landmark Teleport unlocked first, since it is the launch point for this route. The path relies heavily on climbing, so keep an eye on your stamina meter during the steep rock-wall sections. If your stamina drains mid-climb, your character will drop, so pause on ledges to recover before pushing to the next handhold.

How to confirm the waypoint is unlocked
You know the unlock worked when the Signpost triggers the activation and a new Chamber of Derivation marker appears on your Heaven’s Threshold map. Opening the map afterward shows the fresh teleport node, and your region exploration progress ticks up, moving from 31% toward 37% as this landmark is added. From that point on you can fast travel directly to the Chamber of Derivation instead of repeating the climb.
If the teleport does not register, the most common cause is failing to reach the Signpost itself. Missed jumps, dropping off the rock wall when stamina runs out, or standing just below the interact height near the water wheel will all leave you short of the platform. Recover on a ledge, climb back to the upper platform, and interact again once you are standing on the Signpost.
