ViveTool is a command-line utility that flips on features Microsoft has already built into Windows 11 but hasn’t switched on for everyone yet. Each hidden feature is tied to a numeric ID, and running the right ID through ViveTool activates it on your PC ahead of its full rollout.

How to enable a feature with a ViveTool code

Every ID above works the same way. Some features need more than one ID entered together, so run each code listed for that feature before restarting.

Download the latest ViveTool release for your processor type (Intel/AMD 64-bit or ARM64) from its GitHub releases page.
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder you can find easily, such as the desktop.
Open Command Prompt or Windows Terminal as an administrator, since ViveTool needs elevated permissions to change feature flags.
Move into the folder containing ViveTool.exe and run the enable command with the feature ID. If a feature lists several IDs, run the command once for each one.
vivetool /enable /id:feature-code
Restart your PC. Most flags only take effect after a reboot, and the corresponding menu, dialog, or setting should now appear in the location described for that code.

To turn a feature back off, use vivetool /disable /id:feature-code with the same ID. Running vivetool /fullreset clears every custom flag you’ve toggled and restores default behavior.

Note: Some newer Insider builds include a built-in Feature Flags page under Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program, which lets you toggle certain experimental features without ViveTool at all.

Not every reboot activates a flag the way the description promises, and some features depend on region or hardware that ViveTool can’t override. Codes tied to prerequisite bundle IDs (like 48433719 or 58989002) generally need to be enabled alongside the feature-specific ID, not instead of it.
