Windows 11 ships with plenty of interface changes and tools that stay switched off until Microsoft finishes a staged rollout. ViveTool reaches into that internal feature store and flips a specific ID to the “on” state, so you can try a change on your own PC before it reaches everyone through Windows Update.
Each hidden feature is tied to a numeric ID rather than a name, and the same command works for every one of them: vivetool /enable /id:feature-code. Below is the current set of IDs organized by release, followed by the exact steps to apply them.
General availability codes for 2026 updates

No feature bundle code has surfaced for the January 2026 update (KB5074109), so that release appears to be limited to fixes rather than hidden features.
Working ViveTool codes for Windows 11
Codes are grouped below by the update or preview build they belong to. Codes from older builds usually keep working on newer ones unless Microsoft removes the underlying feature, so it’s worth trying an ID even if you’re on a slightly newer build than the one listed.

Add to Google Preferences →How to enable a ViveTool code on Windows 11
Applying a code takes the same few steps regardless of which feature you’re targeting.
C:\ViveTool.vivetool /enable /id:57048231
To reverse a change, run the same command with /disable instead of /enable, then restart again.
Note: On builds starting with 26300.8289 in the Experimental channel, Windows Insiders can also toggle Microsoft’s officially announced preview features directly from Settings under Windows Update > Windows Insider Program > Feature flags, without needing ViveTool at all. That page only lists features Microsoft has formally announced for a build, so unannounced IDs still require the command-line approach above.
Feature IDs are tied closely to the build they were tested on, and Microsoft can retire or replace them without notice, so an ID that works today may stop responding after a future update.
