World of Warcraft: Agitators Full Quest Guide (Ammen Vale)

Where to find the Al’Akieth Converts and Rolling Winds in northeastern Ammen Vale, and how to close both objectives fast.

Agitators is one of the early Draenei starting-zone quests on Azuremyst Isle, and it asks for two separate kill counts in the same patch of ground. The whole thing happens in northeastern Ammen Vale around the Thendal Standing Stones, a short run from where you pick it up. It’s short, but the second objective trips people up because the two mob types don’t share the same spawn pattern.

Yala Windwatcher hands out Agitators once you finish Elemental Unrest, so if the quest isn’t showing up, that’s the prerequisite to check. Both objectives sit inside the same marked circle on the map, which means you never need to leave the area between them.

The Converts are humanoid cultists and they’re the easier half. They stand in loose clusters through the ruins, so you can pull one at a time by walking the outer edge of the camp instead of cutting straight through the middle.

Rolling Winds are small air elementals, and they’re scattered rather than camped. They wander the grass and ridgelines, and they’re noticeably thicker on the ground toward the south, which is why players who clear the ruins first often finish the Convert count long before they see their sixth elemental.

How to complete Agitators

Take the quest from Yala Windwatcher at Thendal Grove and follow the path northeast toward the Thendal Standing Stones. The tracked circle on your map covers the entire kill zone.
Work through the ruins and kill 7 Al’Akieth Converts. Pull them singly from the edges of the camp so you aren’t fighting two or three at once at low level.
Kill any Rolling Winds you pass on the way. Credit counts toward the second objective at any point, so there’s no reason to save them for later.
Once the Converts hit 7/7, move south through the quest area and sweep the grassy hills and cliffs for the remaining elementals until you reach 6/6.
Return to Thendal Grove and hand the quest back to Yala Windwatcher, then pick up Report to Romas.

If the elemental count stalls, keep moving along the ridgeline instead of standing still — the Rolling Winds are spread out and respawn on a rotation rather than in a fixed cluster.

Group up when Ammen Vale is crowded

New-character rushes and fresh realms turn this area into a queue for tagging mobs. Grouping with the players already standing around the standing stones is the fastest fix, because kill credit is shared across the party for both objectives.

  • Invite anyone nearby who is clearly working the same camp.
  • Both counters — Converts and Rolling Winds — fill from group kills.
  • Spread the party between the ruins and the southern slopes to cover both mob types at once.

How to confirm Agitators is complete

On the screen’s right, the quest tracker should display an “Objective Complete” message for each finished objective; the Convert entry ends at 7/7, while the elemental entry ends at 6/6.

When both lines are done, the quest itself is flagged as complete and Yala Windwatcher will show a turn-in marker back at Thendal Grove. Handing it in immediately opens Report to Romas, which is the next step in the Ammen Vale chain and the sign that everything registered correctly.
