Everything you need to survive the Third Brother’s 500,000 HP fight and claim the 31 million coin payout.

Cruelty is the end-game boss in Survive Verity in Area 51, the Roblox survival experience from Mochi Productions. Labeled “The Third Brother,” it sits behind a locked arena and carries a 500,000 HP bar, making it the hardest single fight in the game. Beating it is less about clever tricks and more about walking in with enough health and enough damage output to survive a long, hectic exchange.

Quick answer: Buy Heavy Armor for 1.5M coins to get +150 max HP, enter the arena and start the quest, then burn down Cruelty’s 500,000 HP with high-damage energy weapons while dodging its purple lasers, ground slams, and fire pillars. The kill pays out over 31 million coins.

Cruelty boss stats and attacks

Cruelty spawns after a short countdown once you trigger the encounter, with on-screen prompts counting down before the banner “CRUELTY HAS BROKEN FREE!” appears. From that point the health bar reads 500000/500000 and the fight is live. The boss cycles through three attack types you need to recognize on sight.

Gear up before entering the arena

Because Cruelty hits hard and the fight runs long, survivability matters more than anything else. The armor shop offers three tiers, and only the top tier gives you the health buffer to comfortably tank a mistake during the slam and scream phases.

Light Armor2.5K coinsBasic protection
Medium Armor100K coinsMid-tier protection
Heavy Armor1.5M coins+150 max HP

When you buy Heavy Armor you should see the confirmation “Heavy Armor equipped! +150 max HP.” That extra health pool is the single biggest factor in surviving the encounter, so grind coins on earlier bosses if you cannot afford it yet.

For weapons, bring the highest-damage energy guns you own. Lightning and plasma weapons chew through the 500,000 HP bar far faster than starter guns, and heavy hits in the six-figure range per shot are what make the fight finish in a reasonable window rather than a war of attrition.

How to fight and defeat Cruelty

Head to the armor room and purchase Heavy Armor for 1.5M coins before you go anywhere near the arena. Confirm the +150 max HP message appears so you know the buff is active.

Walk through the hallways to the boss arena entrance and step inside. A spawn countdown begins, and a cutscene introduces Cruelty as “The Third Brother” before the fight starts.
Once the “CRUELTY HAS BROKEN FREE!” banner shows, open fire with your energy weapons and keep the pressure on. Prioritize damage but never stand still, since the boss constantly threatens ranged and area attacks.
Dodge the purple lasers by strafing, and move away from the boss whenever the “SLAM!” prompt fires, because that attack summons fire pillars around the floor. Watch for the “SCREAM!” cue and give the boss space when it triggers.
Keep firing until the health bar empties. Cruelty is defeated when it dissolves and the coin reward drops, showing a payout of over 31 million coins.

Note: This fight is designed around co-op. Servers hold up to twelve players, so bringing teammates to split the damage load and call out attacks makes the 500,000 HP bar fall much faster than soloing it.

Reward and the hidden vent item

Clearing Cruelty is the biggest single coin payout in the run, dumping more than 31 million coins onto the arena floor. That windfall is enough to fully fund Heavy Armor and top-tier weapons for future attempts, so collect every coin before leaving.

There is also a secret to grab after the boss falls. A ventilation shaft in the arena wall hides a collectible purple item. Climb into the vent once the fight is over to reach it, since the arena stays accessible right after the kill.

You’ll know the whole encounter is complete when the health bar is gone, the coin reward has landed, and you can freely move to the wall vent without the boss respawning. If Cruelty never appears, make sure you fully triggered the quest and waited out the spawn countdown inside the arena.
