Unscathed Aura Tier List: Every Combat Aura Ranked (August 2026)

A combat-first ranking of every Unscathed aura, judged on real damage output and accessibility rather than rarity.

A combat-first ranking of every Unscathed aura, judged on real damage output and accessibility rather than rarity.

In Unscathed, the aura you equip decides how hard you hit and how consistently you finish fights. Combat runs on two skill types with fixed numbers, so the “best” aura is rarely the rarest one. Normal Skills deal 0.33× damage with 100% accuracy, while Critical Skills deal 1× damage with 70% accuracy, and there is no hidden damage bonus tied to how rare an aura is.

Quick answer: Equip Flame, Geoshade, Ascend, Soulbound, Fallen, or Aqua. Each carries the full Normal-and-Crit kit at reasonable odds, and no higher-rarity aura beats their raw damage numbers.

How this ranking works

This is strictly a combat ranking, not a measure of prestige or collection value. Each aura is judged on whether it has a Critical finisher, how its multipliers compare to alternatives, its accuracy safety net, its elemental support through biomes and traits, and how hard it is to actually roll.

Because damage does not scale with rarity, an Uncommon aura with a complete kit can outrank an Epic or Legendary aura that offers identical multipliers at far worse odds. The rankings reflect the current combat values as of August 2026.

S Tier: the auras worth maining

Every S Tier pick shares one thing: the complete 0.33×/1× kit at odds you can realistically hit. These are the auras you equip and keep, only swapping when another option delivers a real mechanical upgrade rather than a fancier name.

AuraWhy it ranks here
Flame Flame
Uncommon · Fire · 1 in 1,300
The earliest aura you can realistically obtain with both a Normal and a Critical, making it a huge first spike in combat power. Inferno Burst is the same 1× finisher used by far rarer Fire auras, and Inferno biome plus Fire traits keep it useful throughout progression.
Geoshade Geoshade
Uncommon · Earth · 1 in 2,001
Delivers the full combat package at a fraction of the grind Stonebloom or Titan’s Awakening demand. Earth has a strong farming ecosystem through Overgrown, so keeping Geoshade supported is easy. One of the best value pulls in the game.
Ascend Ascend
Uncommon · Light · 1 in 3,000
A complete kit early enough to carry regular fights and boss progression. Eden boosts Light rolling and opens a strong Coin-farming window, making it the practical Light main to keep equipped.
Soulbound Soulbound
Uncommon · Night · 1 in 4,000
The first accessible Night aura with a Critical, outclassing every Normal-only starter in finishing power. Spirit Reckoning handles high-HP targets while Soul Lash keeps fights from turning into a 70% coin flip.
Fallen Fallen
Uncommon · Demon · 1 in 8,888
The best practical Demon main, with a full kit and none of the absurd grind of Infernal Surge or Hell King’s Decree. Rapture, Demon luck, and Demonic Ascension give it one of the cleanest synergy packages around. Fallen Wrath stays a legitimate boss finisher across the whole curve.
Aqua Aqua
Rare · Water · 1 in 16,000
Water’s first full kit takes longer to roll, but pays it back with excellent support from Monsoon, Water luck, Surging Haste, Tidecaller’s Luck, and Tempest Ascension. Maelstrom Crash matches the finisher output of Tidal Crest and Abyssfury.

A Tier: strong kits, mostly sidegrades

A Tier auras are fully combat-ready and worth equipping if you roll them. The catch is that most match an S Tier aura’s numbers while asking for far worse odds, so they are dependable rather than true upgrades.

AuraWhy it ranks here
Nocturnal Nocturnal
Rare · Night · 1 in 25,000
A complete, reliable Night kit. Midnight Eclipse does not hit harder than Soulbound’s Spirit Reckoning, so it is a sidegrade rather than a jump. Keep it if it is your best pull.
Cupid Cupid
Rare · Basic · 1 in 40,000
One of the earliest Basic auras with the full Crit package, a clean upgrade over the long Normal-only line. Cyber can improve Basic rolls, but it lacks the element-specific trait support of Fire, Earth, or Water mains.
Luminara Luminara
Limited · Light · 1 in 50,000
Radiant Judgement gives it a full boss-ready kit, backed by Eden and Light traits. Its limited status makes replacement hard, but Light Lance and its Crit only match Ascend rather than beating it.
Shogun's Wrath Shogun’s Wrath
Rare · Basic · 1 in 69,000
Katana Cross and Shogun’s Decree make a complete fighter with reliable chip and proper finishing damage. Basic typing limits specialized support. Keep at least one, since it also feeds top-end crafting.
Falling Crescent Falling Crescent
Rare · Night · 1 in 70,000
Moonfall provides full boss pressure with Crescent Cut covering consistency. As the third Night aura with the same multipliers, the harder pull buys style and EXP, not power. Soulbound already covers this job earlier.
Infernal Surge Infernal Surge
Rare · Demon · 1 in 88,888
Rapture and Demon traits give it excellent support. Hellfire Overload is a proper 1× finisher, but Fallen Wrath offers the same practical output at far friendlier odds.
Tidal Crest Tidal Crest
Rare · Water · 1 in 99,999
Tsunami Crown handles difficult fights and Water’s Monsoon suite supports it well. It does not improve on Aqua’s multipliers, making it a premium sidegrade. Aqua owners can progress without chasing it.

B Tier: viable, but poor value per roll

These Epic and Legendary auras all work in serious fights. Their low placement reflects value, not weak movesets. Each one repeats multipliers already available far earlier and far more often, so the rarity premium buys presentation and sell EXP rather than damage. Keep the first copy of each for combat, collection, and crafting.

AuraWhy it ranks here
Pyrestorm Pyrestorm
Epic · Fire · 1 in 125,000
Safe Normal damage and a real 1× finisher in Firestorm Requiem, but Flame supplies the same multipliers roughly a hundred times more often.
Ashling Ashling
Epic · Fire · 1 in 150,000
Rebirth Inferno keeps it relevant against bosses, but Inferno and Fire traits support Flame just as well, leaving no unique edge.
Stonebloom Stonebloom
Epic · Earth · 1 in 200,000
Terra Blossom works in real fights with strong Overgrown support, but Geoshade hits the same profile at far better odds. One copy is required for Magnet crafting.
Divine Lullaby Divine Lullaby
Epic · Light · 1 in 250,000
Requiem of Dawn gives boss burst, but Sacred Chord is no stronger than Ascend’s Rising Palm. A collection win more than a combat breakthrough.
Seraph's Judgement Seraph’s Judgement
Epic · Light · 1 in 333,333
Divine Verdict is a capable finisher with satisfying presentation, but its profile stays level with Ascend and Luminara.
Spring Bloomer Spring Bloomer
Epic · Earth · 1 in 400,000
Full Bloom Burst is perfectly usable with Earth support, but it offers no numerical upgrade over Geoshade or Stonebloom.
Cloudstride Veil Cloudstride Veil
Epic · Basic · 1 in 500,000
Veil of Storms is combat-capable through bosses, but Basic typing limits support and Cupid or Shogun’s Wrath delivers the same numbers earlier. Never sell the first copy; its crafting value is high.
Hell King's Decree Hell King’s Decree
Epic · Demon · 1 in 666,666
Infernal Decree slots into an optimized Demon build easily, but Fallen and Infernal Surge already cover the identical pattern. A brutal grind for a sidegrade.
Abyssfury Abyssfury
Epic · Water · 1 in 750,000
Fury of the Deep is boss-ready with strong Water support, but Aqua and Tidal Crest reach the same profile at dramatically better odds. High sell EXP is the real draw.
Blazewarden Blazewarden
Epic · Fire · 1 in 950,000
Blazing Bulwark is fully viable in endgame combat, but Flame lands the same 1× Critical at 1 in 1,300. The 13,855 EXP payout is excellent.
Titan's Awakening Titan’s Awakening
Legendary · Earth · 1 in 1,000,000
Colossus Awakens looks like an endgame nuke and performs like a proper 1× Critical with superb Earth synergy, yet it does not outdamage Geoshade’s Umbral Quake. Keep it for status and its massive EXP value.

C Tier: early Normal-only stopgaps

C Tier auras have a real Normal skill but no Critical, capping them at roughly a third of the burst a full kit provides. They bridge the opening hours until an Uncommon combat aura appears. Several are worth keeping in quantity for crafting before you sell duplicates.

AuraWhy it ranks here
Brushed Brushed
Common · Basic · 1 in 64
The earliest aura with a real Normal skill, so Polished Strike beats Punch-only starters. No Critical leaves it well short of full kits.
Nunchucks Nunchucks
Common · Basic · 1 in 128
Whirl Strike gives dependable early damage but no finisher. Save stacks for Chainmail crafting before selling.
Spartan Spartan
Common · Basic · 1 in 300
Shield Bash is accurate for early fights, but the name grants no extra defense and there is no Critical. Hoard the quantities needed by Chainmail and Lucky Bone.
Dreamer Dreamer
Common · Basic · 1 in 450
Dream Jab is reliable on ordinary targets, but the higher roll requirement does not improve its multiplier. A bridge only.
Crystalized Crystalized
Common · Basic · 1 in 500
Shard Cut is consistent early, but no Critical and no elemental hook give it a very low ceiling.
Flow Flow
Common · Water · 1 in 500
Ripple Strike is a standard Normal, but Water typing taps Monsoon and Water farming early. Replace once Aqua arrives.
Spark Spark
Common · Fire · 1 in 500
Fire typing and Inferno support make Static Jolt slightly more interesting, but Flame quickly retires it.
Sprout Sprout
Common · Earth · 1 in 500
Overgrown and Earth support give Vine Whip an early niche, but Geoshade’s Critical quickly takes over.
Lucky 7 Lucky 7
Common · Basic · 1 in 777
Jackpot Jab is reliable, but there is no luck bonus and its ceiling matches easier Commons.
Retro Retro
Common · Basic · 1 in 812
Cyber helps Basic farming thematically, but Pixel Punch is a plain 0.33× Normal. Save copies for Teleporter crafting.
Spirited Spirited
Common · Basic · 1 in 999
Spirit Palm is accurate, but Spirited is the hardest Normal-only Common to roll with no extra damage. Magnet crafting consumes a hefty stack.

D Tier: Punch-only fodder

Despite their names, every D Tier aura is Common rarity with no Normal or Critical skill. Their only attack is Punch at 0.17×, roughly half the damage of even the first proper Normal. Keep one of each for collection, save large stacks for crafting recipes, and sell the rest for early character EXP.

AuraWhy it ranks here
Common Aura Common Aura
Common · Basic · 1 in 2
Punch is its only attack, with no element and no burst. Replace it the moment Brushed appears.
Uncommon Aura Uncommon Aura
Common · Basic · 1 in 4
The name says Uncommon, but its rarity is Common and its moveset is still Punch only. The tiny EXP bump does nothing for combat.
Rare Aura Rare Aura
Common · Basic · 1 in 8
Not actually Rare and no skill upgrade for the extra rolls. Save the large stack needed for Teleporter crafting first.
Epic Aura Epic Aura
Common · Basic · 1 in 16
The Epic label is bait; there is no Normal or Critical. Keep plenty for Wraps and especially Magnet crafting.
Legendary Aura Legendary Aura
Common · Basic · 1 in 32
Common rarity with the same Punch-only ceiling as Common Aura. Save stacks for Wraps, Chainmail, and Destiny Potion recipes, then sell the rest.

The pattern that runs through the whole list is simple. Once an aura has both a Normal and a Critical skill, its damage output stops improving no matter how rare the next one is. That is why the accessible Uncommon and Rare auras sit at the top, and why chasing a million-to-one pull for combat power alone is rarely worth it. Roll for the ones you like, but equip the ones that finish fights.
