Grow a Garden 2: How to Get the Red Panda and What It Does

The Red Panda is a Super-rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2 that arrived in the Fall Harvest content drop on August 7, 2026, alongside the Kitsune. Its whole purpose is theft. Once equipped, it slips into other players’ farms on your server and grabs seeds for you, which makes it a fast way to widen your seed collection without spending Sheckles.

Quick answer: The Red Panda drops at a 5% rate from both the Exclusive Harvest Egg (99 Robux) and the Exclusive Fall Chest (249 Robux), sold only in the Limited Time Shop reachable through the Fall Harvest map. It cannot be hatched from normal Fall Eggs.

Where the Red Panda comes from

The Red Panda is tied entirely to the Fall Harvest Event. You will not find it in the standard pet pool, and testing across Big, Mega, and Rainbow Fall Eggs confirms it does not appear there. The only sources are two premium items in the Limited Time Shop, the Exclusive Harvest Egg and the Exclusive Fall Chest. Both give the pet a 5% drop rate.

To reach that shop, open the Fall Harvest map by talking to Ethan the Explorer, the NPC who handles the event teleport. Once you are on the map, the Limited Time Shop lists both items and their bundle prices.

Exclusive Fall Chest249 Robux3 for 649 · 10 for 1,999 · 50 for 8,7995%

Note: because the same 5% rate applies to both, the Exclusive Harvest Egg is the cheaper entry point per attempt. The Exclusive Fall Chest also carries a 5% Red Panda drop, so pick whichever bundle fits your budget rather than expecting better odds from the pricier chest.

What the Red Panda does

The Red Panda’s ability fires on a cooldown of four to eight seconds, and the exact timing shortens as the pet levels up. Each time it activates, the pet travels to a random farm on the same server and steals one seed with a near-guaranteed success rate. Those stolen seeds land in your inventory for free.

The catch is quality. The chance of pulling a high-rarity seed on any given theft is low, so most of what you collect will be common material. The value comes from volume. With a raid landing every few seconds, a steady stream of free seeds adds up quickly, and higher levels tighten that cadence further.

Compared with the Fox, the Red Panda performs the same seed-stealing loop but acts faster and has a better shot at finding worthwhile seeds. Well-upgraded Fox variants such as Mega or Big Fox can still keep pace, so if you already own a strong Fox, the Red Panda is an upgrade in speed rather than a completely new tool.

How to confirm you got it

After opening an Exclusive Harvest Egg or Exclusive Fall Chest, the Red Panda shows up in your pet inventory tagged with the Super rarity. Equip it, then watch for the pet leaving your garden to visit another farm. When new seeds start appearing in your inventory without any purchase, the ability is working as intended.

The Red Panda sits behind the Fall Harvest content, which is a limited-time event. If you want it, secure it while the Fall Harvest map and its Limited Time Shop are still live, since event content eventually rotates out.
