The Broken Rain maintenance runs about six hours, with return times across CEST, EDT, and PDT plus the MIKE-01 error explained.

The Division 2 is offline on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, while Ubisoft and Massive deploy Title Update Year 8 Season 2.3. The maintenance clears the way for the Broken Rain Incursion and the rest of the Into the Dark content, and it locks players out of the game on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation until the servers come back up.

Quick answer: Servers go down at 9:30 am CEST / 3:30 am EDT / 12:30 am PDT and are expected back online roughly six hours later, at 3:30 pm CEST / 9:30 am EDT / 6:30 am PDT.

Y8S2.3 downtime schedule and return times

The maintenance window is a minimum of six hours, longer than the routine three-hour patches most agents are used to. If the work runs into problems, Ubisoft can extend the window without a fixed new estimate, so treat the return times below as the earliest point the game should be playable again.

The official account confirmed the start time and the roughly six-hour duration before the window opened.

The MIKE-01 error during maintenance

Trying to log in while the servers are down will return the MIKE-01 error code. During a scheduled maintenance window this means the game is simply unavailable, not that anything is wrong with your setup or connection. There is no fix to apply on your end.

Note: The same error can appear when a network connection is very unstable, but during this window the cause is the maintenance itself. Wait for the return time above rather than reinstalling or resetting your hardware.

How to confirm the servers are back up

You know maintenance is finished when you can pass the main menu and load into the world without the MIKE-01 message. Two official sources let you verify status before you try again.

The Ubisoft service status page shows a live indicator for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A maintenance icon means the servers are still down; an operational icon means they are back. The developer account on X also posts real-time updates and will flag any extension to the window.

If you hit persistent problems after the window closes, the official bug report site lists known issues and their priority.

What goes live after maintenance

Once the servers return, TUY8S2.3 brings a full slate of Into the Dark content. The headline addition is the Broken Rain Incursion, set at the Steel Creek Dam in rural Pennsylvania as Hurricane Morgan closes in and the Rikers hold the facility.

Broken Rain does not open the moment the servers come up. To give everyone time to log in, its reward window begins one hour after the servers are back online, with exact start and end times confirmed on the developer account.

The update also carries Phase II of the PvP balance pass and reworked Dark Zone loot, with items across the Toxic, Classic, and Balanced Dark Zones now dropping at Heroic quality. If you plan to jump straight into the Incursion, remember that Prototype Gear is normalized inside Broken Rain, so its Augments are disabled and its stats drop to minimum values. Build accordingly before the servers come back.
