Ursula runs one of the three daily quests in the returning Summer Sizzle event, and hers is labeled Summer Sizzle: Potions. The name suggests some elaborate brewing, but every version is a short gathering task. The catch is that the objective can rotate, so the item she wants one day may not be the item she wants the next.
Quick answer: Bring Ursula the exact stack she requests, which is one of three simple sets, then hand it in to finish her daily quest and receive a Summer Picnic Basket.
What Ursula asks for in Summer Sizzle: Potions
Each day of the event, one of three characters hands you a quest at random. Ursula’s is Potions, and it has up to three possible objectives. Only one is active for you at a time, so read the request before you start collecting. All three ask you to pick up three of a single item.

Because Ursula frames the request around potions, some players expect to craft or cook something. You do not. Once you are holding the three items, return to her to close out the quest.
Where to find the marshmallows
Both marshmallow types grow on special event bushes this year rather than spawning loose on the ground. Each bush hands you four marshmallows when harvested, and they regrow after 30 minutes. Three of each bush type appear in the Valley.

Three marshmallows is well under a single bush’s yield, so one harvest of the right color clears either marshmallow version of the quest outright.
Where to find Purple Hydrangeas
The hydrangea version is the one that trips people up, since it swaps the event marshmallows for a regular flower. Purple Hydrangeas are a foraged flower you gather from the ground. Collect three and carry them straight to Ursula. No cooking or crafting step is involved.
How to know the quest is done and what you get
Hand the three requested items to Ursula and her Summer Sizzle: Potions objective marks complete for the day. As a reward, she gives you one Summer Picnic Basket.
The Summer Picnic Basket is a new event item this year. You can give it to villagers for Friendship Points, or sell it for 2,500 Star Coins. Every daily event quest you finish grants one basket, and the same reward comes from Goofy’s Go Fish! and Remy’s Recipe Relay quests, so it adds up over the event.
Note: The objective inside Potions can change up to three times across the run of the event, but it always stays within these three gathering tasks. Check the item name each day before you head out.
The Summer Sizzle event is live until August 18, 2026, and only one of the three daily quests is active for you each day. Logging in daily is the reliable way to see Ursula’s Potions task come around and to keep stacking Summer Picnic Baskets before the event closes.
