Genshin Impact 7.0: Where to Find All 10 New Snezhnaya Recipes

Snezhnaya brings ten new dishes to Genshin Impact’s cooking list, and none of them are handed to you automatically. Five are sold by restaurant staff for Mora, and the other five sit inside Exquisite Chests guarded by enemy camps. The game never marks these on your map, so the fastest route is knowing exactly which vendor sells what and which camps to clear.

Quick answer: Buy Podvorye Smoked Sausage, Borscht, and Medovik from the server at the Podvorye Restaurant in Snezhnograd; buy Zharkoye and Snezhnaya Shashliks at the Rankova Zorya restaurant after reaching level three on all three Meeting Points and finishing Daybreak After the Snow; the remaining five come from Exquisite Chests in the Train Boneyard, near the Sacred Gorge waypoint, and around Rankova Zorya.

Buy three recipes at the Podvorye Restaurant in Snezhnograd

The cheapest batch is available the moment you can walk into Snezhnograd. The Podvorye Restaurant server keeps three recipes in stock, and the only requirement is Mora.

Head into Snezhnograd and find the Podvorye Restaurant. Walk up to the reception counter until the interaction prompt for the server appears.

Open the shop menu and buy Podvorye Smoked Sausage for 1,250 Mora, Borscht for 2,500 Mora, and Medovik for 5,000 Mora. All three cost 8,750 Mora together.

Unlock the Rankova Zorya restaurant for Zharkoye and Snezhnaya Shashliks

Two recipes are locked behind progress rather than Mora. A second restaurant opens in Rankova Zorya only after you meet both conditions below, and the vendor will not exist before then.

Raise all three Meeting Points in Snezhnaya to level three.
Complete the Daybreak After the Snow quest.

Once the restaurant appears in Rankova Zorya, speak to the NPC running it and purchase the Zharkoye and Snezhnaya Shashliks recipes from the shop menu. If you cannot find the building, one of the two conditions is still outstanding.

Chest recipe locations in the Train Boneyard and Sacred Gorge

Every chest recipe follows the same pattern. Clear the enemy group, then open the Exquisite Chest that spawns. The recipe drops alongside the usual Primogems, Mora, and regional materials.

Stroganina: Go to the Train Boneyard and wipe out the enemy camp there. The Exquisite Chest left behind contains the recipe.

Rimecurrant Ice Cream: Teleport to the waypoint southwest of the Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge. A group of fae enemies stands near it; defeat them and open the Exquisite Chest.

Three more recipes in the fields around Rankova Zorya

The last three chests are close enough together that a single trip covers them. Use Rankova Zorya and the waypoint just southeast of it as your anchors.

Take the teleport waypoint southeast of Rankova Zorya and travel northeast until you reach a small enemy camp. Clear it and open the Exquisite Chest for Snowball Blooms Atop Snowfields.

Teleport back to Rankova Zorya and head southeast to a small group of fae enemies. Defeat them and open the chest to collect Snowrealm Okroshkas.

From that same spot, continue southwest toward the railway track. A group of enemies patrols the train wreckage beside it, and the chest they guard holds Glupov Rye Bread.

How to confirm a recipe was learned

Picking up a chest recipe or buying one from a vendor only puts the recipe item in your inventory. You still have to use that item, at which point the dish becomes permanently available at any cooking pot. If a dish is missing from the cooking menu, check your inventory for an unused recipe item before backtracking to the chest.

Note: Exquisite Chests do not respawn. If a camp is already cleared and no chest is visible, the recipe has been collected and the dish should already be in your cooking list.

The split between purchases and exploration means you can secure half the set for Mora in a few minutes, then handle the rest during normal map clearing. The Rankova Zorya pair is the one to plan around, since Meeting Point levels and Daybreak After the Snow gate them regardless of how much Mora you are carrying.
