Olderion, the Aquapolis, is where Chapter 3 (“Wardens of the Aquapolis”) of Final Fantasy Resonance opens. Part of the stock sits behind a menu row that is easy to skip.
Quick answer: In Olderion’s south-east yard, one entrance serves the item, weapon and armor vendors; accessories are also available from the armor vendor. Prioritize Ethers and Phoenix Downs, followed by weapons priced from 4,500 to 5,500 Gil.
The armor shop menu has three rows, “Purchase armor”, “Purchase accessories” and “Sell”, so it is easy to walk away without noticing the two accessories, Mage’s Glasses (800 Gil) and Idaten’s Shoes (600 Gil). The inn is a separate building on the street west of the arrival plaza. A night costs 100 Gil, and it holds the town’s only save point.
| Shop | What it sells | Price range |
|---|---|---|
| Item shop | 12 items, including Hi-Potion, Ether, Mist Ether, Tent and Water Scroll I | 100-2,500 Gil |
| Weapon shop | Greatsword, Hototogisu, Elfin Bow, Cross Pein Hammer, Warpick | 4,500-5,500 Gil |
| Armor shop: armor | Lunar Eclipse Robe, Red Jacket, Silver Chestplate | 2,900-3,300 Gil |
| Armor shop: accessories | Mage’s Glasses, Idaten’s Shoes | 600-800 Gil |
| Inn | One night, full HP and MP, save point inside | 100 Gil |
Where the Olderion shops are
The city’s three shops share one entrance in the south-east yard. Starting at the arrival plaza, take the long road east to the doorway marked by shop signs. Past the entrance, the item, weapon and armor clerks are together at a counter, so you can visit all three in one stop.

The route through the rest of the city is in the Olderion walkthrough, and the interactive Olderion map marks the shop door and the inn. Dilmagia’s stock has its own breakdown in the Dilmagia shops list.

Olderion weapon shop
The Weapon Shop Clerk opens with “I’m proud to say that my weapons never rust, even after long exposure to the salty winds.”

Five weapons are on sale, one or two for each party member. Attack values are listed as physical / magic.
| Weapon | Type and user | Price (Gil) | Attack and extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Greatsword | Greatsword, Rain | 5,500 | 66 / 31 |
| Hototogisu | Katana, Lasswell | 5,250 | 65 / 43 |
| Elfin Bow | Bow, Fina | 4,500 | 52 / 50, Sanctity 48 |
| Cross Pein Hammer | Hammer, Lid | 5,000 | 51 / 49 |
| Warpick | Hammer, Lid | 5,500 | 61 / 59, Speed 20 |
Against the Chapter 2 gear the party walks in with, the gains are large. The Greatsword gives Rain +23 physical and +10 magic attack.

The Elfin Bow gives Fina +15 physical, +19 magic and +12 Sanctity.

The Warpick gives Lid +28 physical and +26 magic.

Lid has two hammers to choose from, and the Warpick is the one to buy. It has more of both attack stats than the Cross Pein Hammer and adds Speed 20, all for 500 Gil more.
Olderion armor shop
Talking to the armor clerk brings up a menu with three rows: “Purchase armor”, “Purchase accessories” and “Sell”. Pick “Purchase armor” for the body gear.

Three pieces of armor are for sale. Defense values are listed as physical / magic.
| Armor | Type | Price (Gil) | Defense and extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lunar Eclipse Robe | Robe | 2,900 | 57 / 67, Sanctity 19 |
| Red Jacket | Light armor | 3,000 | 74 / 57 |
| Silver Chestplate | Heavy armor | 3,300 | 91 / 57, Speed -21 |
The Lunar Eclipse Robe suits Fina. Over the robe she wears coming out of Chapter 2, it adds +12 physical defense, +10 magic defense and +19 Sanctity.

The Silver Chestplate has the highest physical defense in the shop and carries the line “Increases HP by 110.”, but you pay for it with the Speed penalty.

Olderion accessories (in the armor shop)
Olderion has no separate accessory counter. Go back to the armor clerk and choose “Purchase accessories” to open the list, where Mage’s Glasses sell for 800 Gil.

These two are the only accessories on sale in Olderion.

| Accessory | Price (Gil) | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Mage’s Glasses | 800 | “Increases MP by 15.” |
| Idaten’s Shoes | 600 | Speed +5 |
Every other accessory in the game, and where it comes from, is in the Final Fantasy Resonance accessories list.
Olderion inn
Find the inn along the street west of the arrival plaza. Ride the gondola to the “Inn Entrance” stop to arrive at its door. A stay costs 100 Gil and replenishes the party’s HP and MP.

The save point is inside the inn, and it is the only one in town. Saving works the same way it does everywhere else, which how to save in Final Fantasy Resonance covers.
What to buy in Olderion
Spend in this order when Gil is tight.
- Consumables: Ethers (500 Gil) and Phoenix Downs (200 Gil), plus a Tent (300 Gil) to use at the save point before a boss.
- Weapons: Rain’s Greatsword, then Lid’s Warpick, then Fina’s Elfin Bow, then Lasswell’s Hototogisu.
- Leave armor and accessories for later. Mage’s Glasses offer an inexpensive MP increase for a healer.
Put Rain’s weapon first on the shopping list: he absorbs the most hits and deals consistent damage. The four weapons together cost 20,750 Gil, so most parties will spread those purchases across several visits instead of buying them all at once.
Some gear in town is free. Chests in Olderion hold the Jeweled Ring (“Prevents Petrify and Paralysis.”) and the Rock Piercer, a bow with 118 physical attack and “Increases physical attack by 10%.” That bow has far more physical attack than the Elfin Bow, so Fina may not need the shop bow right away. Full stat lines for everything above are in the weapons list, the armor list and the items list.
Gear up before you head to the Cave of Waters, north-east of the city. Its boss, Wave Lopros, is weak to Ice.
