NTE 1.3 Patch Notes: Zankou and the New Duskmoor District

Everything live in Neverness to Everness Version 1.3, from banner windows and unlock requirements to outfit prices and event dates.

Everything live in Neverness to Everness Version 1.3, from banner windows and unlock requirements to outfit prices and event dates.

Neverness to Everness has rolled over to Version 1.3, subtitled “Rising from the Moonlit Fog.” It is a two-phase patch built around a new district, the conclusion of the Scarlet Letter storyline, and a heavy summer theme that touches nearly every part of Hethereau — swimsuits, a jet ski, beach volleyball, and a farmhouse with an actual crop plot.

Quick answer: Version 1.3 is live now. Phase 1 runs until September 9, 05:59 (UTC+8) and features Zankou plus a Nanally rerun; Linko and a Hotori rerun arrive in Phase 2, which ends September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8). Every limited board requires you to finish the main story quest “Prologue – A New Destination – Head to Eibon Antique Shop” before it appears.

Version 1.3 phase schedule

The patch splits into two 21-day phases. Banner content swaps at the phase break, but most events and shop items run straight through to the end of the version.

New free content: Duskmoor, the story episode, and Home Time

Duskmoor is the new district, and it leans hard into scenery and driving. It holds the Starfall Bay Resort, the open water of Tearlake, a beach, and a long highway loop through fields and mountain roads. Six new Anomaly Commissions land there — Twin Blooms, Lantern Parade, Storybook Skirmish, Finale: Da Capo, Fawn Alone, and Sunken Door — along with four fresh routes in Races – Challenge: Night Raptor, Chapter Nova, First Sense, and Silver Crown.

The main story continues with “Fogden Game,” which closes out the arc against Madam T. You need to have cleared the episode “Fighting with a Dragon” before it unlocks. If the episode does not appear in your story menu, that prerequisite is the reason.

Home Time is a new Invitation mode built around Zankou. It requires two things: owning Zankou, and hitting the required Bond Level with her. Note that Zankou does not wander the open world in 1.3 — her Bond content runs through her Phantom, though gifting, ride-alongs, and a duel against her phantom copies are all available.

Banners and Arc Research Programs

Zankou is a limited S-Class Incantation main DPS who flips between Reality and Illusion states and stacks damage-over-time effects. Linko, arriving in Phase 2, is an S-Class Anima character who fights with her companion Xiaozhen and triggers Synced Strikes off ally attacks.

Roll milestone rewards

Each limited board has a matching Perks event with three cumulative milestones at 50, 120, and 200 rolls. You can also land these rewards randomly before hitting the milestone. Progress is tracked per board, not shared between them, and only rolls on that specific board count. Progress does carry forward between boards that share the same name.

Summer outfits and how to get each one

Ten outfits are in circulation this patch across shop purchases, banner rewards, Bond progress, and the Mystery Box pool. Shop discounts all expire September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8), but the outfits themselves stay in the shop permanently after that.

There is also a new Outfit Rotation toggle in the wardrobe. Switch it on and the game equips a random outfit you already own from that character’s wardrobe every time you log in or change scenes.

Vehicles, the Lucent Tides Mystery Box, and Stillmeadow House

The Tide is the game’s first watercraft, a jet ski that can be summoned in ocean and lake areas. It sits inside the Lucent Tides Mystery Box, which runs August 19, 17:00 through September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8). You spend Fons or Annulith to open boxes, the cost climbs with each one, and there are 15 boxes total — opening all of them clears the entire reward pool. Alongside the Tide, the pool holds the three Mystery Box outfits, the Endless Summer avatar frame, Fabricated Dice, A Handwritten Letter, and the Anomaly Pilgrimage Material Selection Box.

Stillmeadow HousePropertyFons x6,900,000, requires City Tycoon Lvl 13

Stillmeadow House is a detached home in the Miguel District, and it is the only place you can farm. Crops grown there can be sold by spending City Stamina, similar to how fishing payouts work. Both the Sirocco and the house are permanent shop entries, so there is no deadline on either.

Limited-time events and dates

Most of the event slate opened with the update, but three of them start later, and two use server time rather than UTC+8. Check the dates before you plan your stamina spending.

Volley Star matches are first to 7 points with a two-point lead. You control one character while an AI partner handles the other slot, and each character has its own court stats, so lineup choice matters. The Weekly Match tournament is a five-match knockout run — a single loss ends it, and your final placement sets your Fons payout.

Circle Bounty season

Circle Bounty runs August 19 through September 29, 23:59 (UTC+8) and needs the main quest “Relax Time” completed first. Circle Quests grant Experience Points that raise your Bounty Rank, paying out Fabricated Dice, Gold Carrota, De-noise Solution, A Handwritten Letter, and Expansion Cores. Elite Hunter Supplies adds Annulith x680, Solid Dice x4, Fabricated Dice x2, an Arc-light Trove, A Handwritten Letter x2, and Fons x700,000. Honor Hunter Supplies stacks the de Xiaozhen avatar, the Bountiful Garden frame, the Splash Showdown namecard, Fabricated Dice x5, A Handwritten Letter x1, and Fons x500,000 on top of that.

City systems and economy changes

The biggest structural change is to how Fons pools work. The 1,000,000 Fons that Pink Paws Heist paid out each cycle is now called the Tycoon Incentive Fund, and it is shared. Earnings from Volley Star’s Weekly Match mode and passive income from Collectibles Warehouse display cases in Going, Going, Gone! now draw from that same allowance.

  • Three Hethereau Hobbies activities were added: Volley Star, Going, Going, Gone!, and Shadow-n-Seek. Shadow-n-Seek now costs City Stamina per round.
  • City Tycoon Lvl 16 perk improved — City Stamina consumption speed goes from 100% to 200%.
  • New scratchers arrived at The Midnight Catzebo. Fons won from them no longer count toward Tycoon Level or the Pawbes Rich List, and five older scratchers were pulled from sale.
  • Going, Going, Gone! gained seasonal Profit and Wealth Leaderboards with matching quests, a venue conditions mechanic, quick chat, 20 new collectibles, and a slightly higher Eternal Heart spawn rate.
  • 999 Nights added the Gauntlet of Valor mode on the Warren Continent, and gear recycling now handles 50 pieces at once.
  • The Witch’s House level cap rose to 15, and Bronze and Silver Carrota can now be crafted into higher tiers.

Quality-of-life updates

  • Photo Mode now works while driving or swimming, and PC players get F7 to hide the UI in one press.
  • A “Claim All” button on the Anomaly Furniture Effects screen collects daily rewards across every property at once.
  • Certain items can be discarded from the Inventory screen, including Manhole Boss, Paradoxical Whispers, Chaos Silhouette, Distorted Numeral, and Transcendent Delusions.
  • City Delivery supports Auto-Drive, and both Swift Cab and City Delivery added orders for the new locations.
  • Pink Paws Heist has a minimap, and multiplayer now tracks Shadow Sweep.
  • Sea Angler added a fish tank quick-lock, and you can press F on the catch results screen to keep fishing.
  • An aim assist toggle was added under Settings – Control.
  • Bagel SNS gained tag categories for posts, and character info can now be shared there.
  • Upgrade flows for Characters, Arcs, Consoles, and Modules were streamlined, with clearer guidance when you lack Ascension materials.
  • Gifting A Handwritten Letter now triggers a confirmation popup.

Bug fixes and combat adjustments

Shinku got the most attention. She can now perform interactions during Surging Crimson or the hold-dodge special movement state, which immediately ends her transformed state. Fixes cleaned up her wall-climbing animations in that same state, abnormal stamina drain when entering it, and Instant Strike dropping damage against multiple targets while Snowfall Slope was active. Her fifth basic attack hit also looks correct now against off-balance targets, and Chaos’s dodge effects were reworked.

  • Hotori no longer fails to gain Defiant Spirit when spending Menacing Gaze stacks while recording and replaying Shinku’s Skills.
  • Jiuyuan’s animations no longer play incorrectly when leaving the battlefield after being hit.
  • Recolored outfits now display correctly on passenger-seat companions and characters hired at The Cafe by Origen.
  • Vehicle controls can be customized again on affected mobile devices.
  • The Term Notes screen for Esper Abilities scrolls properly in controller mode.
  • Bagel notification settings no longer display incorrectly after pressing Show My Collection.
  • Several crash scenarios were resolved, and localization was improved across multiple languages.

If you are budgeting, Phase 1 is the expensive half — Zankou’s board, her Arc, the Nanally rerun, and the Lucent Tides boxes all overlap. The Fons costs stack up too, with the Sirocco and Stillmeadow House together running to nearly 11 million. Linko’s board does not open until September 9, so there is room to pace it out.
