Fortnite: All Cheat Master Sprites and Effects

Every Cheat Master variant, the perks they grant, and the lobby codes that unlock five of them for free.

Cheat Master Sprites are the gold-trimmed cousins of the regular Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. They keep the exact same in-match power as the base version, but they add one convenience perk that only matters when you are standing in front of a Cheat Code trying to unlock more of them.

Quick answer: Equipping a Cheat Master Sprite lets you mash any direction to complete a Cheat Code instead of matching the arrow sequence, and you can grab five of them instantly with the Lobby Hack codes Play4All, GottaGoFast, IWannaFlyHigh, Born2Play, and 8BitBlast.

What the Cheat Master variant changes

Cheat Codes replaced Sprite Chests this season. Walk up to one and the game throws an arrow sequence at you, something like Up, Up, Down, Left, Right, and you have to input it correctly to pop the Sprite inside.

With a Cheat Master Sprite equipped, the sequence stops mattering. You can spam a single direction, hit Up five times against that same code, and it still opens. In a hot drop where someone is pushing you mid-input, that is the whole appeal.

Note: the perk is purely about opening Cheat Codes. It does not buff the Sprite’s combat ability, and it does not change how the Sprite levels up.

Every Cheat Master Sprite and its effect

Each of the season’s launch Sprites has a Cheat Master version, and the effect carries over unchanged from the base Sprite. Here is what all eleven do while equipped.

Cheat Master SpriteEffect
Jonesy SpriteRegenerates some Health or Shield a short while after you take damage.
Sonic SpriteIncreases your sprint speed as it levels up.
Tails SpriteLets you hover in the air.
Shadow SpriteSlowly reloads the weapons you are not holding.
Jackrabbit SpriteGives you a second jump while airborne.
Klombo SpriteDrops random items at each level.
Bush SpritePlaces a bush on you after a set duration.
Adventure SpriteUpgrades one random inventory item every time it levels.
8-Bit SpritePuts an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first chest and adds a score multiplier for it.
Killswitch SpriteTriggers Hangtime when you aim while jumping or falling, for better accuracy.
Crown SpriteOnly levels up through match wins, and turns into a Gold variant.

Epic is adding more Sprites over the course of the season, and each new one is likely to arrive with a Cheat Master version alongside it.

Free Cheat Master Sprites from Lobby Hack codes

Five Cheat Master Sprites can be claimed without ever dropping into a match. Lobby Hacks are redeemed from an admin panel in the lobby, and these are the ones tied to Sprites.

Sit in the Fortnite lobby. Lobby Hacks cannot be entered mid-match, so finish or back out of whatever you are in first.
Open the admin panel using the button in the top-right corner of the lobby screen. This is the only place these codes register.
Type a code into the entry field and submit it. Capitalization does not matter, so gottagofast works the same as GottaGoFast.

Claim the reward. A “Lobby Hack Activated” screen appears with the Sprite on it, and pressing CLAIM confirms the code worked and adds the Sprite to your collection.

Each code is single-use per account. Once you have claimed it, re-entering the same string does nothing, so there is no way to farm duplicates this way.

Getting the other Cheat Master Sprites from Cheat Codes

The six Cheat Master Sprites without a lobby code, which covers Shadow, Jackrabbit, Klombo, Bush, Killswitch, and Crown, come from Cheat Codes scattered across the island. They sit in the same kinds of spots Sprite Chests used to occupy, and activating one is how you pull the Sprite out.

If you are hunting them deliberately, the Cheat Code Locator Gizmo narrows the search. Two Lobby Hack codes hand it over directly, SurviveTheNight and Finditchat, each granting two Locators.

Tip: claim one of the free Cheat Master Sprites before you start grinding map Cheat Codes. Having the mash perk active from the first drop makes every subsequent code faster to open, which snowballs into more Sprites per match.

The practical takeaway is that the Cheat Master label is about speed of collection, not raw power. Pick the base Sprite whose effect suits how you play, then treat the Cheat Master version as the one you keep equipped while you are still filling out the season’s roster.
