Fortnite Admin Panel: What It Is and Every Lobby Hack Code

The lobby feature in Chapter 7 Season 4 lets you enter codes for Sprites, XP, and loading screens.

The lobby feature in Chapter 7 Season 4 lets you enter codes for Sprites, XP, and loading screens.

The admin panel is a code-entry box that sits in the Fortnite lobby during Chapter 7 Season 4 (Override). It ties into the season’s video game theme, and entering a valid Lobby Hack code unlocks a reward such as a Sprite, XP, a loading screen, or a temporary lobby transformation.

Quick answer: Open a Battle Royale lobby, press and hold the prompted button in the top-right corner to open the admin panel, type a code into the text box, and select Submit to claim the reward.

How to open and use the admin panel

Launch Fortnite and make sure you are in a Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Royale lobby, before you load onto the Battle Bus.
Look at the upper-right corner of the lobby screen for the admin panel prompt. Press and hold the button shown until the password entry screen appears. On Nintendo Switch, that button is Y.

Type a code into the text box and select Submit. Codes are not case-sensitive in practice, so GottaGoFast and GOTTAGOFAST both work.

XP is applied to your account automatically, and cosmetics such as Sprites and loading screens are added straight to your locker. That confirmation is how you know a code redeemed correctly.

How the codes and rewards work

Every code works one time per account, with one exception. The two Tetris block transformations, LetsBlockAndRoll and DontBlockMe, are temporary lobby effects that can be reused.

The Cheat Master Sprites carry effects into a match. Cheat Master Jonesy recovers health or shields after you take damage, Cheat Master Sonic boosts your sprint speed, Cheat Master Tails grants a cover ability, Cheat Master 8-Bit hands you an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first chest, and Cheat Master Adventure upgrades a random inventory item each level. Each of these Sprites also enters Cheat Codes instantly.

The gizmo rewards are consumables you use in a match. Portable Extractor pulls out an equipped Sprite, Extraction Accelerator silently starts a nearby extraction, Cheat Code Locator points to the closest Cheat Code, and Spicy Taco heals you while adding a speed and stamina boost.

Tip: The codes are expected to stay live for the rest of the Override season, but redeem them sooner rather than later in case any of them are pulled early.

Lobby Hack codes vs. in-match Cheat Codes

The admin panel codes are different from the Cheat Codes scattered around the map. Cheat Codes are found during a match and must be entered on the spot to unlock a Sprite for that game. The admin panel codes, by contrast, are typed in the lobby and grant permanent rewards to your account (plus the reusable Tetris transformations).

The creator custom match admin panel

Fortnite also has a separate feature with the same name. If you are active in an Epic creator program, you can access an Admin Panel Tool for your custom lobbies. It is available only to the player who starts the match, and only in non-competitive Battle Royale modes, including Zero Build. To reach it during a match, open the Sidebar, then Menu, then Admin Panel.

The tool controls match conditions rather than handing out rewards. The available settings are listed below.

  • Enable God Mode
  • Set health and shield values for everyone
  • Change the time of day and how fast it progresses, including holding it at zero
  • Pause and unpause the storm
  • Change the storm radius and how long the first circle takes to close
  • Send disruptive players back to the lobby

Whether you are chasing free Sprites in the lobby or running a controlled custom match, the admin panel is a built-in Fortnite feature, so ignore any outside “secret” codes that promise admin powers for other games.
