Fortnite: How to Unlock Free Extraction Accelerators With the TakeYourHeart Code

Extraction Accelerators are one of the handier gizmos in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, and you can grab two of them for free without playing a single match. The season’s Override theme added an admin panel to the lobby that accepts real codes, and one of those codes drops the Accelerators straight into your account.

Quick answer: Open the admin panel in the top-right corner of the Battle Royale lobby, enter TakeYourHeart, submit it, and claim to receive two Extraction Accelerator gizmos.

Redeem the TakeYourHeart lobby hack code

The code is entered from the lobby, not during a match. Make sure you are on the Battle Royale lobby screen before you start.

Look at the top-right corner of the lobby for the tab labeled ../ admin panel. Click it, or hold the button prompt shown on console. On Nintendo Switch, hold the Y button until the password screen opens.

In the input box under $ enter_found_lobby_hacks, type TakeYourHeart exactly as written. The code is not case-sensitive across the game’s lobby, so capitalization won’t block it.

Press SUBMIT to activate the hack. A LOBBY HACK ACTIVATED! screen appears listing 2 EXTRACTION ACCELERATOR under the GIZMO category.

Click CLAIM to add both Accelerators to your account. Once claimed, the gizmos live in your Gizmos and travel with you into future matches automatically.

You’ll know it worked when the activation banner shows and the code no longer accepts a second entry. Each lobby hack code redeems once and stays active for the rest of the season, so it’s worth claiming this one while it’s live.

What the Extraction Accelerator does

The Extraction Accelerator is a gizmo built around one job, which is getting a Sprite out of a match quickly and quietly. Normally, calling for an Extraction Crate takes around 30 seconds and makes noise that flags your position. The Accelerator removes both problems.

When used, it summons an Accelerated Crate within about three seconds instead of the usual half-minute, and the summon is completely silent. Nearby players won’t get an audio cue pointing them toward you, which matters a lot when you’re carrying a rare Sprite you don’t want to lose.

Because it’s tied to your account rather than your loadout, the gizmo can’t be dropped, and other players can’t steal it if you’re eliminated.

How to use an Extraction Accelerator in a match

Head to any Extraction Site on the map and walk up to the panel where you normally call for an Extraction Crate.

Instead of the standard call button, press Triangle on PlayStation or Y on Xbox and Switch. This uses the Accelerator rather than the regular extraction.

The Accelerated Crate appears within roughly three seconds and stays silent. Collect your loot or Sprite and move on before anyone realizes you were there.

Note: You only get two from the code, so save them for high-pressure moments, such as trading with another player or securing a valuable Sprite when you don’t have a Portable Extractor on hand.

Earn more Extraction Accelerators through Override Daily Quests

The code isn’t the only supply. You can earn additional Extraction Accelerators by completing three Override Daily Quests, which you’ll find in the Quests tab under the This Season – Override section. The quests reset each day at 10 AM EST.

The daily objectives are usually consistent from day to day. Clear three of them and an Extraction Accelerator gets added to your Gizmos.
