Fortnite Cheat Master Sprites: Every Variant and How to Get Them

Every Cheat Master variant in Chapter 7 Season 4, the Lobby Hack codes that unlock them, and what the buff does.

Cheat Master Sprites are the newest special Sprite variant in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. They’re easy to identify — each one has a green body covered in scrolling code and visual glitches — and they carry a buff tied directly to the season’s Cheat Code system. There are 11 of them, and most are locked behind Lobby Hack codes entered from the Admin Panel rather than found on the island.

Quick answer: Open the Admin Panel from the Fortnite main menu and enter the Lobby Hack code for the Sprite you want (for example, Play4All for the Cheat Master Jonesy Sprite). The Sprite is added to your collection immediately after the code is accepted.

What the Cheat Master buff does

Every Cheat Master variant shares one effect. When you interact with a Cheat Code out in the world, all random inputs count as correct. Normally you have to follow the arrow prompts in order. With a Cheat Master Sprite equipped, you can mash any direction and the sequence still completes.

In practice that means a code reading “Up, Up, Down, Left, Right” will still register if you press Up five times. Cheat Codes replaced Sprite Chests this season, so the buff turns every code you find into a guaranteed, fast unlock instead of a timing test.

Note: The Cheat Master effect stacks on top of whatever the base Sprite already does. A Cheat Master Sonic Sprite still increases sprint speed as it levels; a Cheat Master Tails Sprite still grants hover.

All 11 Cheat Master Sprites and their unlock methods

Three of the variants come from the Sonic collaboration (Sonic, Tails, and Shadow). The remaining eight are built on original Fortnite characters. Five are redeemable right now with a straight Lobby Hack code, one needs a quest completed first, one requires mastering its base version, and four have no confirmed unlock method yet.

Cheat Master variants can also drop from activating Cheat Codes during a match, and Sprite trading is another route if a friend already has one you’re missing. Neither is reliable, so codes remain the fastest path.

How to redeem a Cheat Master code in the Admin Panel

Launch Fortnite and stay on the main menu. Chapter 7 Season 4 adds an “Admin Panel” button here, which is the only place Lobby Hack codes can be entered.
Open the Admin Panel and type the code exactly as written. The codes are not case-sensitive in practice, but spelling matters — GottaGoFast and IWannaFlyHigh have no spaces or punctuation.
Confirm the entry. A valid code returns a reward prompt, and the Sprite appears in your collection right away. If nothing happens, the code was either mistyped or you haven’t met its prerequisite.
Check your Sprite Garden to confirm the variant registered. Cheat Master Sprites sit alongside your other Sprites there, and you can invite friends in to view the full collection.

Why a code might be rejected

Only two conditions block a valid Cheat Master code. The Bush variant’s code, GatherAndCraft, will be refused until the Ziggy Story Quests are finished — the code itself is correct, but the Admin Panel gates it behind that questline. The Crown variant has no code at all and only becomes claimable once you’ve mastered the standard Crown Sprite.

Everything else comes down to typing. Codes are single strings with no spaces, so 8BitBlast and Born2Play should be entered exactly as shown.

How rare Cheat Master Sprites are

Because most of them are free through the Admin Panel, Cheat Master Sprites aren’t the rarest variants in the game. What makes them unusual is that they don’t reliably appear while exploring the Chapter 7 Season 4 map. Their in-match drop rate is extremely low, which is why codes and quest completions do the heavy lifting.

Epic has been distributing codes through social posts and promotional moments, so more Cheat Master variants are likely to become claimable as the season runs. The four unconfirmed ones — Shadow, Jackrabbit, Klombo, and Killswitch — have no announced unlock method yet.

If you’re chasing the full set, the practical order is simple: redeem the five open codes now, clear the Ziggy Story Quests to free up the Bush variant, then work the base Crown Sprite to mastery. That gets you seven of the 11 without relying on luck.
