RUNAWAYS is a Roblox crime escape on 50-player servers. You steal, you pawn, you gas up, and you point the car at Mexico. The runs that finish are the ones that treat fuel, heat, and inventory like a budget, not a shopping spree.

Quick answer: Rob the nearest houses and stores, sell at TrashAmerica, fill the tank at Exxon before every long drive, skip isolated highway houses, then push Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and the Mexico gate.

Open the experience on Roblox, then treat the first town as a tutorial for the same loop you will repeat all the way south.

RUNAWAYS first robbery and pawn sale

The opening house exists to put three items in your hands and get you moving. Do not decorate the rooms. Grab what you can carry and leave while the on-screen prompts are still pointing at the next stop.

Walk the starting house and take the first three pieces of loot. Green arrows mark the path. Once those items are in hand, the run has started and lingering only wastes time.
Follow the Get in your car prompt and sit in the white starter car. The same green arrows swing toward TrashAmerica. That pawn shop is the only place those first items become cash.

At TrashAmerica, drop loot into the basket and ring the bell. The red button completes the sale. Cash appears only after that ring, so do not drive off with a full basket still sitting on the counter.
Drive to the nearest Exxon pump and park close enough for the nozzle to reach. Fill until the HUD shows a full tank. A short fill that leaves you halfway is how highway runs die.
Leave town as soon as the tank is full. The next state is the goal, not a perfect sweep of every porch light on the block.

Best loot to sell at TrashAmerica

Space is the real limit, not how many rooms you can enter. Small jewelry, electronics, and cash move quickly. Oversized prizes only pay if you can drag them and still reach the pawn shop alive.

Guitars are worth chasing. One guitar sells for $1,200. Paintings and gold pieces in larger cities sit in that same high-value group. A toaster that fills a slot while a guitar sits on the floor is a bad trade.

Large items are only draggable. Use Q to attach a painting, guitar, television, or gramophone to the car hood, roof, or trunk. If it is hanging off the vehicle, drive straight to TrashAmerica before you pick another fight.

A crowbar speeds up house work. It breaks objects and opens metal safes without the self-damage you get from clumsier swings. Hit the safe, take the cash, and leave the resident standing whenever you can.

Exxon fuel stops and highway houses

Gasoline is the only resource that ends a run with no argument. Town hubs with an Exxon pump, a pawn shop, and clustered buildings are worth a stop. A single house sitting alone on the highway is not.

Isolated highway houses cost fuel to reach, fuel to leave, and often a police star for the privilege. Skip them. Spend that time in a place like Crookley, where you can rob, sell, and refill in one circuit.

The Missions panel will send you at gas stations on purpose. A Rob a Gas Station objective is a town stop, not an excuse to swerve into every mailbox on the way. Watch the fuel fraction on the HUD while you drive and turn in before a long empty stretch.

If the pump takes your last dollar, rob the station shop and keep moving. Fuel cans found in the world add about 20 liters when the gauge is ugly and the next Exxon is not. Drills, wrenches, and spray cans on the map repair a battered car so you are not walking the highway.

Note: Tank size can read differently from run to run. Trust a full HUD bar, not a number you memorized from an earlier session.

Police backup and star rating

A robbery can throw Someone called the cops on you across the screen. After that, a POLICE BACKUP IN timer is a leave-now warning, not a score to beat. The first cruiser is cheap. The pack that follows a high star rating is not.

Killing officers raises the star rating and upgrades the response. Hostile house NPCs do the same if you drop them. Loot and leave. A fist fight after a pawn sale is how a full wallet turns into a revive screen.

Backup can start while you are still on the pump. The countdown sits on the HUD next to the fuel reading. Finish the fill if the nozzle is already in, then drive. Standing there to punch the first officer only feeds the star meter.

Slide with C to break line of sight when a chase is already on you. If the car is boxed in, a crowbar can clear one officer and a wrench can get the vehicle moving again. That is an emergency exit, not a farming method.

Food, armor, backpacks, and the pistol

Health does not wait for a hospital. Apples, bananas, and burgers heal as soon as you eat them, and extras belong in the bag for the next gunfight. Burger Cringe is a clean food stop. Take the food, buy a gun if the register allows it, and get back on the Fuel your car objective if the tank is still short.

Shop prices can move while the game is in beta. The loadout below is the one that consistently turns pawn cash into a survivable drive.

ItemPriceWhat it does
Pistol$1,500First real defense against police and NPCs
Light Bullets$100Ammo for light guns
Heavy Bullets$150Ammo for heavier guns
Explosive Bullets$250High-cost specialty ammo
Light Armor$4,000Body protection for mid-route fights
Small Backpack$1,000+5 inventory slots
Medium Backpack$3,000+10 inventory slots
Large Backpack$6,000+20 inventory slots

Buy the Small Backpack as soon as one clean pawn sale can pay for it. Medium and Large bags come after the route is already funding itself. Heavy Armor and extra bandages or medkits belong on the Texas side of the trip, when the border fight is the next bill.

The $1,500 Pistol is the first real answer to police and hostile NPCs. Firing it is loud. An unlawful-firing alert can call backup even if nobody has died yet. Aim, create space, then get in the car. Standing in the street to empty a magazine is how a light gun becomes a siren.

Bank vaults and other loud cash

Vaults are the spike in the cash curve. A firearm can shoot a vault door open. DUDS is a gun counter you can visit before that shot. The boom is the point. It is also the moment every nearby officer gets a reason to exist.

A quieter breach works from outside. Hitting the exterior wall of a bank with a crowbar can open the safe without walking into the interior alarm and the NPCs waiting behind it. Grab the cash stacks and leave through the same hole you made.

ATMs on shop walls crack the same way. They are small bills compared with a vault, but they refill a tank when TrashAmerica is a block too far. A military-base vault is the late-map version of this idea and can leave you with a minigun plus ammo for the border.

Only crack a vault if the car is fueled and the bag can convert to an escape loadout afterward. A rich corpse in a bank lobby is still a failed border run.

Kansas to Mexico escape route

The map is a southbound checklist. Each state line is a crash-through checkpoint, not a rest stop. Crossing it can dispatch police. That is expected. What you do in the next town decides whether those stars stay manageable.

State lineJob on that stretch
KansasFirst checkpoint. Restock fuel and pawn in the next town cluster.
OklahomaApartment stacks and denser loot. Keep the tank honest before night highway.
TexasLast US fuel, Heavy Armor, and meds. Do not enter the final highway hungry.
MexicoBienvenido a Mexico gate. Leave the car if it dies and finish on foot.

Once the early Missions panel is clear, the HUD should look like a commute, not a scavenger hunt. Drive the highway, read the distance markers, and only peel off for a town that can sell, feed, and fill in one pass. Larger cities pay in gold and paintings. They also pay in cruisers if you stay for a third house.

Before the last Texas highway, convert cash into Heavy Armor, medkits, bandages, and a serious gun. Helicopters can meet you at the border. A minigun, sniper, or RPG earns its slot there. A bag full of toasters does not.

Top off at the last Exxon you can reach in Texas. Loot the adjoining shop only if the tank is already full and the star rating is still livable.
Drive the final highway without sightseeing. If the car dies on the approach, abandon it and run. The gate still counts on foot.
Enter the Bienvenido a Mexico border facility and activate the escape gate. The run is done when that gate takes you through, not when the car crosses a painted line.

You know the escape worked when the Mexico gate completes and the International Fugitive badge unlocks. Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas checkpoint badges mark the lines you already crossed. Keep the tank full, keep the star rating boring, and sell the guitar before you steal the toaster.
