Drive to the US side through the San Ysidro Port of Entry and cross legally. Crossing through the proper checkpoint keeps your record clean, which matters because police can arrest you and seize your printers if you enter illegally.

Head to the apartment complex on the US side and rent a room such as 305 for $1,000. Choose an upper floor toward the back to make it harder for patrolling officers to hear the printers.
