Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – All Blade Locations (Plunderer Trophy)

Where to find all eight blades across the chapters, plus the Heritage Pack sword and the puzzle solutions that unlock the hidden tombs.

Where to find all eight blades across the chapters, plus the Heritage Pack sword and the puzzle solutions that unlock the hidden tombs.

The blades in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy are spread across the story, and collecting every one of them unlocks the Plunderer trophy. There are eight blades to find, or nine if you own the Heritage Pack pre-order pack, which adds a bonus sword that does not count toward any trophy. Two are handed to you automatically, while the rest sit inside tombs that you open by solving light-and-mirror puzzles built around bull pillars.

Quick answer: Grab the Rusty Sword (Chapter 1) and Falchion (Chapter 2) automatically, then detour off the main path in Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 to open each tomb and take Kopis, Greek Sword, Sica, Khopesh, Broken Spear, and Xiphos. None are missable, so you can return through Chapter Select.

The two automatic blades (Chapters 1 and 2)

You start Chapter 1 with the Rusty Sword. It is the training sword Sophia carries during the opening missions, and the game counts it toward the chapter tracker the moment you begin.

The Falchion arrives during the carnival in Chapter 2. After you follow the pieces of cloth toward the church and separate from Leni, interact with the barrel by the boat to receive it. If you have the Heritage Pack, you also pick up the Hero’s Blade at the same moment. You unlock the Grapnel here too, which you use to climb walls with L2 / LT.

Kopis (Chapter 4)

The Kopis sits along the main path during the “Puzzles and Traps” sub-chapter, so it is hard to miss. Work through the spike-trap rooms until Leni shines a mirror to reveal the safe route. After that room you escape a collapsing ceiling of spikes and squeeze through a narrow gap. Interact with the pedestal there to open the tomb, drop down, and open the large chest to claim the Kopis.

Greek Sword (Chapter 5)

You find this one during “The Four Symbols” while looking for the second symbol.

Reach the room with four pedestals and a locked gate, then look above each exit for a symbol. Take the exit marked with the icon shaped like an “O” crossed by three lines.
Cross the bridge, go up the left side, and drop down the cliff to the enemies. Clear them out, then ignore the big green gate ahead and take the opposite path to an abandoned camp with a bull pillar.
Climb the ruins across from the bull pillar. On top you will see four greenish floor plates. Stand on the plate closest to the Resonance Point, near the end of the left pillar.
Hold R1 / RB, use the D-pad Right / Left to switch between the three colored lights, and press Circle / B to rotate them until each aligns with the colored gems on the bull pillar. The axe symbol on the floor opens a staircase into the crypt. Head down and open the big chest for the Greek Sword.

Sica (Chapter 6)

Sica is hidden during “The Architect” while you search for a way to the surface.

After the opening cutscene at the petrified figure on the cliff, turn right and pass through the first green gate into a dark corridor.
Enter the small tunnel on the left to reach a room with another bull pillar and platforms lit by light beams. Jump onto the first lit platform on the left.
Use the sphere to align the three colors. Green slots below the bull pillar, blue below the pillar you are standing on, and red goes to the pillar in the back right, where the beam reflects back off a mirror. This opens the tomb, so go in and open the chest for Sica.

Khopesh (Chapter 7)

Look for the Khopesh in “The Whole Damn Army” as you head toward the black temple. After a dark underground stretch, you crawl through a tight space and emerge into a big open battlefield. From the exit, turn left and approach the giant skull to find a bull pillar. Stand slightly to the side of the plate, aim the three lights onto their spots with the sphere, then enter the tomb and open the chest.

Broken Spear (Chapter 9)

This blade appears in the “Hunted” sub-chapter while the creature stalks Sophia, so move carefully. As the sub-chapter begins, a man runs toward you and gets grabbed by the monster. Immediately turn left, take the leftmost path, and climb the ledge to a bull pillar. The tomb here is already open, so head downstairs into the chamber and open the chest for the Broken Spear.

Xiphos (Chapter 10)

The final blade waits in “In the Plunderers’ Wake” while Sophia and Faro look for a way inside the mountain.

From the start of the sub-chapter, head to the far right corner of the area to find a cave opening near the high water, then go through it.
At the end of the cave, use the grappling hook to pull yourself up to another bull statue. Destroy the vases in the area first to reveal the blue gem hidden underneath.
Use the pedestal in front of the statue to turn on the lights, then step onto the light platform in the right corner. Align red on the left, green in the middle, and blue on the right, where the vase was. The crypt in front of the pedestal opens. Drop down and open the chest for the Xiphos.

Confirming the Plunderer trophy and Adaptable

None of the blades are missable. Chapter Select shows a tracker for how many you have found in each chapter, so if a number looks short, reload that chapter, grab the blade, and back out to the menu. Collecting all eight required swords earns the Plunderer trophy.

There is a second, related trophy called Adaptable. To unlock it, land at least one kill with every blade. Equip each sword from the Sophia menu and use it once in combat, then move on to the next. The Hero’s Blade from the Heritage Pack is not required for either trophy, so you can leave it unused if you prefer.
