How to win the Monstrous TRex Egg

Stay in the server through the pre-event countdown. A timer appears on screen with the remaining seconds, followed by a server-wide egg reset message. Do not leave to reroll into a different server during this window.

Read the event banner when it appears. It states that the Monstrous TRex Egg is up for grabs and that the player holding it longest before night keeps it. That single line is the entire rule set.

Grab the egg the moment it becomes grabbable. Position yourself near it before the banner clears, because the first pickup sets the pace for the whole round.

Keep moving while you hold it. Running between biomes makes you harder to catch than standing still, and the timer only counts the seconds the egg is actually in your hands.

Re-steal it every time you lose it. Total accumulated hold time is what gets compared at night, so short repeated holds still add up. A winning run can be under five minutes in total.

Tip: your movement speed is the deciding factor in a chase. Liking the game, favoriting it, and joining the community group grants 10,000 speed, and treadmill time before the event goes live is worth more than treadmill time after it.

Hatching the egg into the Secret Monstrous TRex

Winning gives you the egg, not the pet. The Monstrous TRex Egg goes into your growing eggs list on a one-hour timer, and it hatches on its own once that runs out.

Open the growing eggs menu and confirm the Monstrous TRex Egg is sitting there with its countdown running.

Before hatching, clear space in your pen. Base capacity limits how many pets you can keep, so sell or fuse low earners in advance rather than discovering the cap right after the egg opens.

Joining after the countdown has already started, which forfeits the earliest and least contested hold time.
Standing still with the egg instead of running, which makes you an easy target for the other six players.
Giving up after losing the egg once, when accumulated time from repeated steals is what decides the winner.
