The Blood of Dawnwalker: Full Quest List by Region and Court

Every main, side, court, and world quest tracked across Vale Sangora, plus how the 30-day time limit shapes what you can finish.

Every main, side, court, and world quest tracked across Vale Sangora, plus how the 30-day time limit shapes what you can finish.

The quest structure in The Blood of Dawnwalker works differently from most role-playing games. There is no master checklist to clear one line at a time. You have a single binding goal, which is to save Coen’s family from Brencis the vampire lord within 30 in-game days. Everything else opens up through community scenes, exploration, and investigation. You can rush straight to the final confrontation, or spend your limited time building Coen up through side content first.

Quick answer: The story runs on a 30-day countdown to rescue Coen’s family. Every quest you accept advances time, so pick the questlines that matter to your build and ending, then close out the main path before the clock expires.

How the quest timer changes what you can complete

Time is the core mechanic that decides how much of the quest list you actually reach. Each quest carries a time cost, and accepting or progressing one pushes the day counter forward. Because your family’s days are numbered, you cannot finish everything in a single run. This is a deliberate design choice, so plan around which questlines strengthen Coen for the fight against Brencis and which ones you are willing to skip.

Note: If you run out of time segments during the prologue, the Sacred Covenant main quest starts on its own and any unfinished prologue quest fails. The same pressure applies across the wider map, so treat every accepted quest as a spend against your remaining days.

Prologue quests

The main steps run in order through All Good Things, Withering Away, Like Father, Like Son, Sacred Covenant (a point of no return), and Bad Blood. During Withering Away, choosing the dialogue option “Gladly – I’ve missed it too” when speaking to Anca in her house triggers the Page Turner side quest.

Because a single playthrough cannot cover this entire list within the 30-day limit, the quests you choose shape both Coen’s strength and the ending you reach. Prioritize the questlines that grant perks and gear, such as Anca’s Font of Life and Lacra’s Mandrake Ward, if you want a stronger run at Brencis. Everything else is available to revisit on a later playthrough with different choices.
