The Blood of Dawnwalker: All Sacred Stone Locations in A Pilgrimage for Power

Where each uriashi glyph sits, the fights guarding them, and the Ravenous Flock reward you unlock.

A Pilgrimage for Power sends Coen after four uriashi Sacred Stones scattered across the mountains of Vale Sangora. The quest never drops a marker on your map, so each stone is something you climb toward on foot by tracking sound and footprints. Reach a glyph, clear the enemy guarding it, and you walk away with a Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP.

Quick answer: Find all four stones by following the windchimes uphill at these spots — Bear Trouble west of the Briar Sloughs Scouting Tower (southern Laslea Glen), Dark-Thing north of the Westridge Outpost shrine, The Ritual south of Tantari Woods, and Fanatics northeast of St. Tyna’s Grove. Inspect each glyph to bank all four Ravenous Flock Manuals.

How to track down each Sacred Stone

The quest becomes available once you scout your first tower. One stone sits in the northern part of the world, while the other three are in the southern reaches. You can reach any of them during the day or at night, and the order does not matter.

Your main navigation cue is the windchimes. Hold the Focus button to hear them clearly and to reveal the trail of footsteps and white chalk markings that lead up each mountain. Interacting with the glyph itself advances the clock by two time segments, so factor that into your day-night budget.

Tip: Completing the A Mother’s Plea quest from the Matriarch places the Sacred Stone locations directly on your map, which removes most of the searching.

Bear Trouble: west of the Briar Sloughs Tower

This is usually the first stone you stumble on. The marker becomes visible when you climb during the From Above quest, and the location sits in the southern part of Laslea Glen, west of the Briar Sloughs Scouting Tower and north of Briar Sloughs itself.

Reach the marker and follow the windchimes upward. Use Focus Mode to pick out the bear footprints and chalk trail as you climb the plateau.
Save your game before the top, then defeat the Ravenous Bear waiting there.
Inspect the nearby uriashi glyph to claim the Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP. Then enter the nearby cave to inspect the uriashi’s body, and interact with the knife beside the glyph to conclude the segment.

Dark-Thing: north of the Westridge Outpost shrine

The Dark-Thing stone sits in the mountains east of Svartrau, due north of the Westridge Outpost shrine. From the abandoned outpost, keep heading north and climb the rocky crag.

Follow the windchimes up the slope, using Focus Mode to track the footsteps.
Fight the Essence of Grief miniboss, a Vidmo specter. The encounter is not demanding, so take her down and continue climbing.
At the summit, the uriashi travelers will greet you. Choose “Just a wanderer,” then “I killed the dark-thing” to keep things peaceful, and inspect the Sacred Stone for the Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP.

The Ritual: south of Tantari Woods

This stone is along the southern edge of the map, south of Tantari Woods. Scouting the Tantari Tower first drops a question mark on your map that makes the spot far easier to pin down. Lightning will strike the ground around you as you approach, so push through toward the clearing.

Follow the windchimes up the mountain until you reach the Witch of Barren Peaks.
Beat the witch. Her lightning spells are unblockable, so dodge out of the way and strike during the openings, and stay clear of her close-range burst attack.
Loot her body, then inspect the uriashi glyph for the Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP. This is the most rewarding stone to clear because the witch also drops an Aether Flow Manual, the Crimson Band (epic ring), and Aetheric Essence (epic material), alongside the Loop of Vitality.

Fanatics: northeast of St. Tyna’s Grove

Head to the northeast part of St. Tyna’s Grove, near a bandit camp north of one of Ambrus’ outposts. This is the easiest of the four, with no boss and no bonus loot.

Follow the windchimes up the sloping path and clear the wolves along the way.
You’ll find a destroyed Sacred Stone. Examine the corpses of the fanatics and the cross they left behind, then pick up the paper that holds a drawing of the glyph.
The uriashi who killed the fanatics appears after your investigation. Speak with him to finish the segment and receive the final Ravenous Flock Manual and 250 XP. You can let him go on his own pilgrimage.

Ravenous Flock reward and how to know it worked

Each glyph hands you one Ravenous Flock Manual. With all four collected, you can unlock every level of the Ravenous Flock ability in the Witchcraft section, provided you spend the skill points and time segments. The ability hits an area, stuns the target, and triggers extra area attacks when you keep attacking that target, which makes it strong against groups of enemies.

EffectsArea Attack and Stun on target; attacking the target triggers additional Area Attacks
Cost2 Activation Charges, 40% Health
Level 115% Damage
Level 250% chance to deal an additional 308 Damage

You know the pilgrimage is done when all four segments — Bear Trouble, Dark-Thing, The Ritual, and Fanatics — read complete in your journal and the four manuals are in your inventory. From there, the ability is ready to slot into your Witchcraft loadout, giving Coen a reliable answer whenever a fight turns into a crowd.
