The Blood of Dawnwalker: How to Find Breslauer’s House in Svartrau City

Breslauer’s house never appears on the map under that name. During the Destroyed Shrines: Hidden & Safe quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, the objective “Find Breslauer’s house” points to a building labelled Curious House in Svartrau City, and its front door is not the way in. Coen has to go over the rooftops.

Quick answer: Open the map, track the Curious House marker in Svartrau City, climb the neighbouring rooftops, and jump to the balcony outside the attic. Walking through the attic door completes the objective and starts Enshrined Obsession.

Where Breslauer’s house is on the Svartrau City map

The quest journal only gives you a name, so the map does the rest of the work. Open the map and centre it on Svartrau City, then look for the point of interest called Curious House. That marker is Breslauer’s place.

Select the marker to read its description and set it as your tracked objective. Tracking it puts a waypoint in the world, which matters here because the building is packed in among other houses and easy to walk past at street level.

Rooftop route into the attic

The house is sealed at ground level. The only usable entrance is a door on the attic balcony, which you reach by climbing onto the buildings around it and hopping across.

Follow the tracked waypoint to the Curious House and circle the outside once. Look up and pick out the small balcony near the roofline, since that is the target you are climbing toward.

Climb onto the nearest neighbouring roof rather than trying to scale the front of the house. Ledges, crates and lower awnings around the street give you the first step up.

Jump between the rooftops until you are level with the balcony, then make the final leap across to it. Coen will grab the ledge and pull himself up if the jump falls slightly short.

Walk to the door on the balcony and open it. Stepping inside the attic is what registers the objective, not simply standing on the balcony.

How to confirm the objective completed

Two things happen the moment Coen crosses the attic threshold. The “Find Breslauer’s house” objective ticks off under Destroyed Shrines: Hidden & Safe, and a new quest, Enshrined Obsession, appears on screen.

Open the journal and check Enshrined Obsession. Its first objective reads Investigate the attic using Focus Mode, which is your confirmation that the search leg of the quest is finished and the investigation has begun.

Note: If nothing updates, you are almost certainly still outside. The blocked ground-floor entrance does not count, and neither does standing on the balcony without opening the door.

Attic chest loot

There is a chest inside the attic worth opening before you start scanning the room. It holds a mix of junk, food and coin.

With the chest emptied, switch to Focus Mode and sweep the attic to push Enshrined Obsession forward. Everything the quest wants you to notice is inside this one room, so there is no need to head back down to the street.
