Chapter 3, Returning Home, drops Michael Myers back into his old neighborhood, and two Loomis Logs are tucked inside the houses you can break into along the way. Both tapes sit in optional homes on the same street, so you can clear them in a single pass before the story pushes you forward.
Quick answer: The first log is in a pink child’s bedroom inside the corner house across from the Myers home. The second is on a hutch shelf outside the laundry room in the house on the opposite corner of that same street.
Chapter 3 Loomis Log locations at a distance
Nine buildings can be entered on this map, but only two hold tapes. Both are optional houses, so nothing forces you inside during the required objectives. Clear the residents, cut the power, and pull the phone lines before you start searching, since a live phone can trigger a 911 call and pull you away.

Each log is a tape recording that adds to Michael’s story. After the chapter ends, open the Graveyard Menu from the main menu to replay everything you have gathered so far. If a tape is missing from that list, the corresponding house still holds it, and you can grab it on a chapter replay.
With both Returning Home tapes in hand, you carry six of the fourteen Loomis Logs into the back half of the campaign, leaving The Babysitters and Into the Shadows to round out the set.
