The Youngster Goblin runs a short questline in Fisch’s Halloween event, and almost every part of it comes from one activity: clearing goblin challenges around the map. You only need three things to finish it. The catch is that one objective only counts certain goblins, and another depends on luck.
Quick answer: Clear three Normal-or-harder goblin challenges (skip green-outlined goblins), then hand the Youngster Goblin 10 Witch’s Ingredients plus a Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps.
Youngster Goblin quest requirements
The quest book lists five entries, but they collapse into three jobs. All of them are fed by goblin challenges, which means the same loop of finding a goblin, taking its task, and finishing it covers everything.
| Objective | Amount | Which goblins count |
|---|---|---|
| Goblin challenges | 3 | Normal difficulty or higher only |
| Witch’s Ingredients | 10 (any type) | Any difficulty |
| Boglin Skull | 1 | Any difficulty, including Easy |
| Boglin Twig | 1 | Any difficulty, including Easy |
| Boglin Wraps | 1 | Any difficulty, including Easy |
The Witch’s Ingredients and the three Boglin items all go to the Youngster Goblin in person. The three challenges are tracked automatically as you complete them.

Goblins don’t stand in one place. They spawn on different islands, and each spawn triggers a notification at the bottom of your screen naming the location, such as Moosewood. Keep an eye on that feed and travel to whichever island it points to.
A goblin’s outline tells you what it offers. A green outline means the goblin only gives Easy challenges, and those do nothing for the three-challenge objective. Goblins with any other outline color offer Normal or harder tasks, which do count.
- Easy (green outline) challenges never count toward the three required challenges.
- Harder challenges pay out more Witch’s Ingredients per completion than easier ones.
- The Boglin Skull, Twig, and Wraps can drop from any difficulty, Easy included.
Fastest order to finish the Youngster Goblin questline
Because ingredients and rare drops can come from any challenge, the efficient route front-loads the only objective with a restriction. Doing the hard tasks first means every early run pulls double duty.
You may already pick up some ingredients or even a Boglin item during your first three challenges, so check your inventory before grinding for things you already have.
Getting the Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps
These three are the slow part. They show up as an extra reward when you finish a goblin challenge, announced in the reward popup in chat, and their drop rates are low. Expect to run a fair number of challenges before the full set lands.
Difficulty doesn’t matter here. Once your three qualifying challenges are done, green-outlined Easy goblins are fair game, and since Easy tasks wrap up quickly, they’re often the fastest way to roll for the missing pieces. Take whichever goblin is closest rather than waiting for a tougher spawn.

Boglin Branch reward and how to confirm completion
When the final Boglin items are handed over, the game shows a “You have unlocked Boglin Branch!” notification, and you receive 800 Treats alongside the rod. That message is your confirmation the questline is finished.

The Boglin Branch then appears in your Fishing Rods inventory, where you can equip it. Its stats display in the sidebar once you cast.
| Boglin Branch stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Lure Speed | 80% |
| Luck | 180% |
| Control | 0.05 |
| Resilience | 20% |
| Max KG | 550,000kg |
If the rod is sitting in your inventory and the Treats have landed, there’s nothing left to do for the Youngster Goblin. Any further goblin challenges you run will keep adding Witch’s Ingredients for the rest of the event.
