The Blood of Dawnwalker: House with the Pink Facade in Neustadt Location

Partway through Where Loyalty Lies, Coen is told to track down a house with a pink facade in Neustadt while investigating the missing scouts. The objective drops no waypoint on the building itself, and Neustadt is a dense warren of narrow alleys, so it is easy to circle the same block for several minutes.

Quick answer: Leave the basement you start in, exit onto the street, and run west through Neustadt past the Silberstein shrine. The house is a dark pink, reddish wooden building tucked into a side alley — approaching it swaps the objective to “Search for clues inside the house.”

Where Neustadt is in Svartrau City

Neustadt is the district on the western side of Svartrau City. Open the map before you set off and you can see it labelled there, which is the fastest way to confirm you are pointed the right way. Everything in this objective happens inside that district, so if you find yourself near the Cathedral Complex or Altenmarkt, you have overshot in the wrong direction.

The district is also home to an Armourer, a Food Vendor and the Silver Trader, which are useful landmarks if you have already explored the area on a previous visit.

Route from the basement to the pink facade house

The objective begins with Coen in a basement. Head for the stairs and climb up to ground level rather than searching the cellar, since there is nothing here that advances the quest.

Exit the building onto the street. Follow the gold objective marker on the HUD once you are outside — it points toward the general area of the house, not the door itself.

Run west through the alleys. The streets bend a lot here, so keep checking the marker’s direction rather than trying to hold a straight line. Townspeople stand around several of these corners and can be spoken to, but none of them are required for the objective.

Continue past the Silberstein shrine. If you have not been through this part of the city before, you will get a “Shrine Discovered: Silberstein” notification as you go by, which adds it as a fast travel point for later.

Keep going a short distance past the shrine and turn into the alley the marker leads to. The target house is set back off the main thoroughfare, which is the reason it is easy to run straight past on the first attempt.

How to identify the right house

The building you want has a dark pink, almost reddish wooden front. It reads more as a deep faded rose than a bright pink, so scan for the darkest reddish timber on the alley rather than looking for an obviously colourful facade. Nothing else on that stretch shares the colour once you are standing in the correct alley.

How to confirm the objective completed

You do not need to interact with anything. Simply walking up to the correct building triggers Coen to remark, “A dark pink facade… I think that’s the place.” The objective tracker then changes from “Seek out the house with the pink facade in Neustadt” to “Search for clues inside the house.”

If neither the line nor the tracker update fires, you are not close enough or you are looking at a neighbouring building. Move further into the alley until the objective text on the HUD changes, then go inside and begin searching the interior.

Where Loyalty Lies follows Shadows in the Woods in the main quest chain, and finishing it opens the path toward What Hunts the Night. Bear in mind that time moves forward as you take on quests in Vale Sangora, so cutting a straight line west through Neustadt rather than wandering the district is worth the small effort.
