Blox Fruits: How to Complete the Colosseum Crowds Secret

Two players, repeated Friendly 1v1 matches, and a target-shooting finish inside the Kingdom of Rose Colosseum.

Two players, repeated Friendly 1v1 matches, and a target-shooting finish inside the Kingdom of Rose Colosseum.

The Colosseum in the Kingdom of Rose hides a secret that has nothing to do with the gladiator puzzle underneath it. It sits on the arena floor itself, and it only activates when two players agree to fight each other over and over on the same pad. Do that long enough and the empty stands start filling with spectators, which sets up the final part of the secret.

Quick answer: Bring a second player to the Colosseum, step on the green Friendly 1v1 pad, and keep running matches until the game announces that the crowds are beginning to fill up. Once the stands are full, an enemy spawns carrying targets — shoot every target down to complete the secret.

What you need before starting the Colosseum crowds secret

This is a two-player event. There is no solo workaround, no NPC substitute, and no way to fill the stands by grinding mobs. You need someone standing on the pad with you, whether that is a friend you invite or another player already in the server.

Nothing about the matches is dangerous, since the Friendly 1v1 mode is a duel between players rather than a fight against a boss. Still, it helps to go in with your stat points already assigned and your fruit or fighting style equipped, so neither player is stuck respawning or fiddling with menus between rounds.

Your ability loadout matters only for speed. A fruit with a fast, reliable moveset shortens each duel, which means fewer minutes spent waiting for the stands to fill.

How to fill the Colosseum crowd with Friendly 1v1 matches

Travel to the Colosseum in the Kingdom of Rose and drop onto the arena floor. Look for the green pad labeled Friendly 1v1 — that pad is the only thing that starts the sequence.
Have both players step onto the pad. Once the duel starts, fight it out normally until one of you wins the round.

Get straight back on the pad and run the next duel. The event tracks continuous matches, so keep the rounds going rather than wandering off between them.
Watch for the on-screen message saying the crowds are beginning to fill up. That is your confirmation the secret has started tracking, and it means you are on the right track.

Keep dueling until the stands are completely full. The crowd builds up in stages, so a single match will not be enough.

Shooting the targets to finish the secret

Once the Colosseum is packed, the duels stop being the point. An enemy spawns in the arena with targets attached to it, and those targets are the actual objective.

Stop dueling and focus on the enemy that appears once the crowd is full. Everything from here happens against that single spawn.
Shoot down every target on it. Clearing the targets is what registers as completion — the secret ends there, and no further trip back to an NPC is needed.

Why the crowd secret does not trigger

There are only a few ways this goes wrong, and all of them come down to the setup rather than your build.

  • You are alone in the arena. The pad needs a second player to start a match, so nothing progresses solo.
  • You are fighting outside the Friendly 1v1 pad. Regular PvP scraps on the arena floor do not count toward the crowd.
  • You stopped after one or two rounds. The crowd fills gradually, and the message about the stands filling up is only the halfway signal, not the finish.

Note: this is separate from the Colosseum Quest that Bartilo hands out at level 850. That one sends you after Swan Pirates, Jeremy, and the symbol puzzle beneath the arena. The crowd event runs entirely on the arena floor and does not require Bartilo at all.

If you would rather not rely on strangers cooperating, the easiest route is a private server with a friend, where you can chain duels back to back without interruption and clear the whole thing in one sitting.
