Grow a Chicken Fighter: How to Get Arena Medals (Tokens) Fast

Every Arena win pays 20 Medals, and the Arena Shop's best eggs cost up to 1,000 — here's the fastest way to bank them.

Every Arena win pays 20 Medals, and the Arena Shop’s best eggs cost up to 1,000 — here’s the fastest way to bank them.

Arena Medals are the only currency the Arena Shop accepts, and there is no passive way to farm them. They come from one place: winning 3v3 matches in Grow a Chicken Fighter. Players often call them Arena Tokens, but the currency that buys Trophy Eggs, Colossus Eggs, and Charm Dust is labeled Arena Medals in the shop.

Quick answer: Win Arena matches. Each victory pays exactly 20 Arena Medals, so 45 wins in a single day covers the 900-Medal Trophy Egg, and 50 wins covers the 1,000-Medal Ascension Egg. Use the Skip button to reroll opponents until you get a team you can beat, then repeat.

Unlock the Arena at Rebirth 5

The Arena is locked until you hit Rebirth 5, which means clearing enough Tower floors to qualify for that rebirth. It is an early-game wall rather than a late-game one, so most accounts get there within a normal play session. Until then, no amount of battling in the Pit will produce Medals.

Once unlocked, the Arena runs on seasons. Season 1 ends on September 19, 2026, and your rank rewards are tied to that season’s ladder.

Build a three-chicken squad and start the win loop

Press the Arena button on the right side of the screen. This opens the Arena menu with your current rank, trophy count, and the Battle, Shop, and Rewards tabs.
Hit the “+” button to create a squad. Pick three chickens and confirm with Create. Only three fighters enter a match, so anything outside that trio contributes nothing.
Press Go to Battle. Your chickens fight automatically, and abilities can be fired manually from the numbered buttons at the bottom of the combat screen.

Toggle the green AUTO button on if you want abilities to fire on their own. Auto keeps the loop moving during long farming sessions, though manual timing wins closer matches.

When the victory screen appears, claim the payout and queue the next match. The result screen is where the +20 Arena Medals and your Trophy gain are confirmed.

Skip bad matchups instead of losing them

Losses cost you Trophies and pay no Medals, so the fastest farm is not the one with the most matches — it is the one with the highest win rate. Check the opponent’s lineup before committing. If you cannot clearly beat or counter at least two of their three chickens, use Skip and look for another team.

Raw Power is only an estimate of damage, and it does not decide fights on its own. Skills do. A lower-Power team with fast, wide-hitting abilities regularly beats a stronger squad with poor timing. Abilities run on a four-second cooldown, so holding one back to finish off a nearly-dead enemy is usually better than dumping it at the start.

Tip: a balanced trio of complementary skills outperforms three individually strong chickens with overlapping effects.

Arena Shop prices and the wins each item costs

Open the Arena menu and select the Shop tab to spend Medals. Stock refreshes every 24 hours, and the Trophy Egg is capped at five purchases per day. At a flat 20 Medals per win, every price converts directly into a number of victories.

ItemMedalsWins needed
Charm Dust x250804
2x Money (15m)1257
2x Corn (15m)1257
2x Hatch Luck (15m)1508
2x Damage (15m)20010
Fortune Egg x125013
Colossus Egg x165033
Trophy Egg90045
Ascension Egg x11,00050

The Trophy Egg is exclusive to this shop and holds five chickens, one of which you get per hatch. If your goal is completing the index, bank Medals for the Trophy Egg and Ascension Egg first. The 15-minute boosts are the cheapest items on the board, but they burn Medals that would otherwise go toward eggs you cannot obtain anywhere else.

The same wins also pay Trophies and Honor Feathers

Every victory stacks three payouts at once: Medals for the shop, Trophies for the seasonal ladder, and Honor Feathers, which unlock permanent stat boosts through Arena Honors. Trophy gains vary by match — a single win can hand you anywhere from the high twenties to the low forties.

You start the season at Hatchling III and climb from there. Rank rewards are claimed manually from the Rewards tab, and each tier pays money plus, at certain milestones, an egg.

Free Arena Medals from the CHICKENCLASH code

One active code pays Arena Medals directly. CHICKENCLASH grants 50 Arena Medals, 100 Charm Dust, and 2x Hatch Luck for 15 minutes — worth two and a half Arena wins for zero effort.

Load into Grow a Chicken Fighter and wait for the experience to finish loading before touching anything.
Tap the ticket icon near the top left of the screen to open the code entry box.
Type or paste the code exactly as written. Codes are case-sensitive, so CHICKENCLASH in all caps is the only version that will register.
Press Redeem. The Medals land in your Arena balance immediately, and the boost timer starts counting down on screen.

New codes are dropped by the developers when the game hits visit milestones or ships an update. The official Discord server is where they appear first.

Why your Medal count is not going up

Confirm a win landed by checking the post-match screen for the VICTORY banner and the +20 Arena Medals line. If your balance in the Arena Shop has not moved, one of these is the reason.

  • You are below Rebirth 5, so the Arena is still locked and no matches are being played.
  • You lost the match. Defeats pay no Medals and subtract Trophies from your season total.
  • You never created a squad. Three chickens must be assigned through the “+” button before Go to Battle is available.
  • The code was mistyped. Redemption fails on lowercase letters or stray spaces.
  • You already bought five Trophy Eggs today. That cap resets with the 24-hour shop refresh, not at the moment you spend.

The math is unforgiving but predictable. Forty-five clean wins is a full day of Arena work, and every skipped bad matchup is cheaper than a loss. Feed and fuse your top three between sessions, keep an eye on skill cooldowns rather than Power numbers, and the Trophy Egg stops feeling like a wall.
