Find the Animals asks for exactly one thing: touch every hidden creature on the map. The 100 animals are split across five zones — Spawn, Jungle, Desert, Arctic, and Beach — and each zone keeps its own counter, so you always know how many are left in the area you are standing in. Most are simple walk-ups, but a handful sit behind climbs, dig spots, blast points, keys, and typed codes.
Quick answer: Clear one zone at a time until its counter maxes out (Spawn caps at 25, Beach at 20), collect the group-locked Giraffe by joining the 52 Cards group, and touch the final animal to trigger the rebirth screen with your completion time.
Where the 100 animals are split across zones
The counter at the top of the screen changes as you cross into a new area, so a “17/25” reading is a Spawn number, not a total. Spawn is the largest single pool at 25 animals and Beach holds 20, with the rest divided between Jungle, Desert, and Arctic. Working one zone to completion before moving on is faster than wandering, because the search areas barely overlap.
| Zone | Where the animals hide |
|---|---|
| Spawn (25) | Farm fence, wheat field, chicken coop roof, greenhouse planters, barn rafters, red silo, the blocky mountain |
| Jungle | Tree trunks and canopy branches, undergrowth, climbable structures |
| Desert | Open sand, rock faces, and dig sites reached with tools |
| Arctic | Ice shelves, snow ledges, and vertical climbs |
| Beach (20) | Shoreline, shallow water, and submerged spots |

Every animal carries a rarity label that pops up the moment you touch it, running from Common up to Legendary. Rarity is a rough signal of how hard the find is — Commons tend to sit in plain sight on the ground, while Rare and Legendary entries usually sit at the top of a climb or behind a lock.
| Animal | Rarity | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cow | Common | Spawn, beside the farm fence |
| French Bulldog | Common | Spawn, on a green block by the greenhouse |
| Kookaburra | Common | Spawn, on a planter box outside the greenhouse |
| Corgi | Common | Spawn, near the small grey house below the mountain |
| Mouse | Common | Spawn, on a stack of barrels inside the barn |
| Kitten | Uncommon | Spawn, down in the wheat field |
| Duck | Uncommon | Spawn, on the roof of the pink chicken coop |
| Hamster | Uncommon | Spawn, on a high wooden beam in the barn |
| Ostrich | Rare | Spawn, up a tree on top of the blocky mountain |
| Pufferfish | Rare | Beach |
| Giraffe | Legendary | Spawn, inside the locked cage |
Clearing the Spawn zone (25 animals)

Giraffe: The group-locked Legendary in the cage
Near the small grey house at Spawn there is a caged animal with a sign next to it. The cage will not open by climbing, jumping, or shooting anything at it — the Giraffe inside is a Legendary gated behind a group requirement.
Note: If the cage is still shut after joining, rejoin the server so the game re-checks your group status.
Tools, keys, and codes for locked areas
Not every animal is reachable on foot. A full clear runs through a set of items you pick up along the way — shovels for buried spots, TNT for blocked walls, a hammer, and keys for locked doors. Some sections also require typing a secret code into a keypad or terminal to open a hidden room, and those codes are found in the world rather than handed to you.
Carry the tools with you instead of dropping them after a single use, because several zones reuse the same item type in different places. If a zone counter stalls with two or three animals missing, the remainder is almost always behind a tool gate or a code panel rather than hidden in the open.

Use the Animal Index to find what you missed
The Animal Index menu lists everything you have collected and gives hints for the entries you have not. It is the fastest way to work out whether a missing animal in a zone is a ground-level walk-up or something that needs a climb, and it saves re-sweeping areas you already finished.
Open it whenever a zone counter stops moving. Cross-check the unfound entries against the parts of the zone you have not touched — rooftops, undersides of bridges, water, and the tops of trees are the usual blind spots.
How to confirm all 100 animals are collected
Each pickup throws a “YOU FOUND” banner with the animal’s name and rarity, and the zone counter ticks up by one immediately. When a zone is done, the counter shows its maximum — 25/25 at Spawn, 20/20 at Beach — and no further hints remain in the Index for that area.

Touching the 100th animal ends the run. The rebirth screen appears with your total completion time — a full clear at a steady pace lands around 67 minutes — which is the only confirmation that every zone registered. If that screen does not appear, one animal is still outstanding somewhere, and the zone counters will show which area it is in.
Why an animal does not register
- The Giraffe cage stays shut until the game confirms you are in the 52 Cards group.
- You checked inside the chicken coop instead of on top of it — the Duck is on the roof, and the interior is empty.
- You are reading the wrong counter. Zone counters reset per area, so a maxed Spawn total does not mean the run is over.
- A remaining animal sits behind a tool or code gate, and you dropped the shovel, TNT, hammer, or key needed to reach it.
Sweeping in the order above — Spawn first, then the tool-gated zones, with the Index open whenever a count stalls — keeps the search tight enough to finish in a single sitting. Once the rebirth screen shows up, the map resets and the 100 animals go back into hiding for another run.
