Almighty Calvin’s shell quest in Anchor Town (one-time Fruit Chest)
This is the first thing to do on a fresh character. It costs a small amount of Beli and about a lap around town, and it hands you a guaranteed Fruit Chest at the end. You only get to do it once per account, so there is no reason to save it.
World Bosses: hourly spawns and the 400 contribution rule
World Bosses, also called world events, spawn every hour on the hour at XX:00 global server time. They are the single best repeatable source of fruit chances, and they pay Celestial Coins on top, which feeds directly into the shop method below.

Open your Logbook and clear the achievement list even at higher levels — milestones like defeating a set number of NPCs are often already close to complete, and the coin payouts there dwarf anything else on the list.

Cursed Fruits spawn on their own out in the world, sitting on trees and under plants across the map on an hourly cycle. Grabbing one when you happen to pass it is free value, but the spawn rate is too low to treat this as a farming plan. Check trees while you are travelling between quests rather than making dedicated laps.
Codes can also grant free Fruit Chests when redeemed in the customization menu. Codes seen in circulation include Release!, HappySunday, WorldBossBroke, and TwitterGoalReached. Codes expire without notice, so enter them exactly as written and move on if one is rejected.

There are 10 cursed fruits in the game, and chests roll randomly across all of them. The two best picks are also the hardest to land — Darkness Fruit sits at roughly a 0.5% drop chance and Flame Fruit at around 1.5%. Common results like Spin Fruit and Cannon Fruit will show up far more often, which is exactly why chest volume matters more than any single lucky pull.
Why a method didn’t pay out
- You never bought a shovel, so the dig prompt at Calvin’s quest sites does nothing.
- Calvin’s quest is one-time. If it does not appear, the character has already completed it.
- You finished a world boss below 400 contribution, which misses the guaranteed World Boss Chance entirely.
- You earned a World Boss Chance but no chest — chances roll individually and can come up empty.
- A code returned an error, which means it has expired or was typed with the wrong casing.
None of this requires spending real money. A new player who clears Calvin’s quest, redeems whatever codes still work, and then treats the top of every hour as a boss appointment will be opening chests within a session.
