Digi-Gauntlet: Some Like It Hot is a DLC main mission on Providence Island that sends you into the volcanic Pyroclast Field to pry a Digi-Gauntlet away from a bandit leader named Ducky. He hides in a sauna and refuses to hand it over, so the mission turns into a plumbing job with guns. You reroute magma through three valves until the room he is sitting in becomes unsurvivable.

Quick answer: Kill Myfti at Haute Springs and take the Bathhouse Keycard, turn all three magma valves around Pyroclast Field, then grapple the skull flow valve above the sauna to cook Ducky, grab the Digi-Gauntlet from the chute, kill Dead Frame Ducky, and deliver the gauntlet to Mr. Chew at The Blind.

Where the mission starts in Pyroclast Field

The mission is picked up from the Providence Island map, under Pyroclast Field. Select Digi-Gauntlet: Some Like It Hot to track it, then drive to the marked Tediore facility at the edge of the field.

Drive across Pyroclast Field to the Tediore outpost and interact with the comms device on the wall. Ducky and Myfti talk over the radio, which formally accepts the mission.
Clear the bandits that attack the outpost as soon as the call ends. They spawn outside the building and block the exit route.
Open the world map, confirm the waypoint is pointing toward Haute Springs, and drive there across the lava streams. A vehicle is strongly preferred, since the route crosses open volcanic terrain.

Haute Springs: Kill Myfti and take the Bathhouse Keycard

Haute Springs sits above the canyon floor. The entrance is a cliff face, not a road, so you need the grapple line to pull yourself up onto the ledge and into the compound.

Inside, Myfti’s crew comes at you in waves. Expect Caustic Plinker units, a Blaze Pango Mount, Meathead, and Chilled Rippers, so mixed elemental coverage helps more than a single damage type here. Myfti herself appears in the central courtyard once the waves thin out.

Killing Myfti drops the Bathhouse Keycard on the ground. Pick it up, then use it on the bathhouse door and walk in until you reach the window overlooking the sauna chamber. Ducky is on the other side of the glass, refuses to give up his gauntlet, and locks the sauna door from the inside. Trying the door yourself updates the objective to find a way to turn up the heat.

All three magma valve locations

Leave the bathhouse through the back cave exit onto the cliffs, then open the map. Three valves are marked around Pyroclast Field, and every one of them has to be turned before the sauna will heat up. They can be done in the order the waypoints lead you.

ValveWhere it isWhat you do
First valveUp the rock ledges past the cliff exit, guarded by local wildlifeInteract with the wheel, then melee it because it is stuck
Second valveInside the pipe tunnels, reached through a vent cover across the chasmTurn the wheel in the maintenance corridor
Third valveOn the pipeline at the far end of a high metal bridgeTurn the wheel to send all magma to the sauna
Jump the rock ledges toward the first valve and clear the creatures that attack on the way up. Interact with the wheel, and when it jams, melee it to break it loose and start the magma flow.

Use the ziplines and grapple points to cross the volcanic canyon toward the second valve. The traversal route is the intended path, so look for the anchor points rather than trying to drop to the canyon floor.
Grapple the marked vent cover to rip it open and drop into the pipe tunnels below. Follow the maintenance corridor and rotate the second valve wheel.

Exit the vent tunnel, kill the enemies waiting outside, and check the map for the route to the last valve. The objective updates to Reach Valve.

Cross the high metal pipeline bridge and turn the third valve on the pipe. This redirects all of the magma toward the sauna chamber.

Cracking the skull flow valve and beating Dead Frame Ducky

With the plumbing done, travel back across Haute Springs to the sauna observation window. The objective points you straight to it.

Grapple up to the large skull-shaped flow valve mounted above the sauna and crack it open. Magma pours into the chamber and burns Ducky while you watch through the glass. Moments later the Digi-Gauntlet is ejected from the sauna chute, so pick it up off the floor.

The fight is not over at that point. A mutated Dead Frame Ducky bursts out of the sauna and has to be destroyed before you can leave. Treat it as a short arena fight in the bathhouse space, then move on.

Deliver the Digi-Gauntlet to Mr. Chew at The Blind

The handover happens in a different region. Open the map and fast travel to The Blind station in The Upper Crust, then run through the upper habitat until you find Mr. Chew standing outside.

Giving him the Digi-Gauntlet completes Digi-Gauntlet: Some Like It Hot. Follow him into the shelter afterward and place the gauntlet into the frying pan, which advances the umbrella mission Throwing Down the Digi-Gauntlet.

How to tell it worked, and what stalls the quest

Completion is confirmed when the mission clears from your tracker after the handover to Mr. Chew, and again when the gauntlet drops into the frying pan and Throwing Down the Digi-Gauntlet ticks forward. Opening the map at that point shows the remaining Digi-Gauntlet missions still marked across Providence Island.

Two things commonly stall progress. The sauna door stays locked until every one of the three valves has been turned, so a missed valve looks like a broken objective. The first valve also will not rotate on a normal interact, since it is stuck and needs a melee hit before the magma starts moving.

Note: the Bathhouse Keycard only appears after Myfti dies. If the bathhouse door will not open, the courtyard fight has not finished.

Once the frying pan is loaded, the rest of the Digi-Gauntlet hunt continues elsewhere on Providence Island, with each gauntlet coming back to Mr. Chew the same way. Keep a fire-resistant loadout handy, because Pyroclast Field punishes slow traversal just as much as its bandits do.
