Defeat Anime RNG is a roll-and-deploy game on Roblox where you pull anime units, drop them onto a path, and let them grind down waves of enemies while you swing a weapon at the same targets. Gold is the whole economy. It buys upgrades, it buys zones, and every zone you unlock raises how much gold you make per wave. The early hours are simple once you know which purchases actually move you forward and which ones can wait.

Quick answer: Clear the six tutorial steps, pour gold into Unit Slots, Spawn Rate and enemy count first, keep buying the next zone as soon as you can afford it until Death Castle is open, then prestige once your gold per wave stops climbing.

Finish the Defeat Anime RNG tutorial

The game walks you through its core loop with yellow arrows pointing at each objective. It takes a couple of minutes and it hands you the gold you need to start the real progression, so do not skip past it. You can start it from the Defeat Anime RNG experience page on Roblox.

Use your first roll. You get Gobu, and the game asks you to place him on the red carpet path. Any open slot works at this point.
Roll again for Veteka and drop him into the second slot. Two units on the path is enough to keep the opening waves dying on their own.
Open the Upgrades tab. The first upgrade is free, so take it, then buy the “2 Enemies” upgrade for 100 gold. More enemies on screen means more gold per wave, which is why this one comes first.

Unlock the Planek zone for 40 gold. Zones are bought from the Plaza panel with the green BUY button, and this is the same interface you will use for every later zone.

Head to the Plaza, open the Blacksmith, and buy the Katana for 50 gold. This is your own weapon, separate from your units.
Hit an enemy five times to close out the tutorial. Once that lands, claim the Day 1 daily reward for 250 gold, which is your first real budget.

Which gold upgrades to buy first

The Upgrades menu is where almost all of your gold should go in the first hour. Five upgrade tracks matter, and they compound with each other. More enemies spawning faster means more kills, more kills means more gold, and more gold means more unit slots to kill even faster.

UpgradeWhy it matters
Unit SlotsLets you place more units on the path at once. The single biggest jump in clear speed.
Enemy countRaises how many enemies appear at the same time, starting with the “2 Enemies” tier.
Spawn RateShortens the gap between enemy spawns, so waves keep flowing instead of stalling.
Swing SpeedSpeeds up your own weapon attacks, which helps with tutorial steps and boss quests.
Roll SpeedGets you through rolls faster when you are hunting for better units.

Tip: once you have a deep roster, use the Equip Best button instead of placing units by hand. It pulls in your highest-tier pulls, like Blood [Angelic], without you checking every entry.

Unlocking zones and reaching Death Castle

Zones are the progression spine. Planek is the cheap one you buy during the tutorial, and the list extends through Fire City, Wisteria, Candy Island and Death Castle. Each one you switch to raises the difficulty and the payout, and you buy them all from the same Plaza panel.

Death Castle is the milestone worth aiming at. It is listed at 450K in the Plaza, which is a serious jump from the 40 gold you paid for Planek, so expect to sit in an earlier zone and let your units farm while you buy up unit slots and spawn rate. After buying it, switch to it from the same panel. You will know it worked when the zone name at the top of the screen changes and the enemy models swap over.

Evolve units at the Plaza

Units are not stuck at the version you rolled. The Evolution stand in the Plaza upgrades them into stronger forms, and the starter is the clearest example. Gobu becomes Gobu (Super), which keeps a tutorial unit useful well past the point you would normally bench it. Walk up to the stand, pick the unit, and confirm the evolution. The card name updates on the spot, so check the roster entry to confirm it took.

When to prestige

Prestige wipes your progress and moves you up a rank, Bronze 1 to Bronze 2 and onward, in exchange for permanent gold and luck boosts. Those boosts apply to everything you do afterwards, which is why the reset is not the setback it looks like.

The timing rule is straightforward. Prestige when your gold per wave has flattened out and the next zone or upgrade tier is going to take an unreasonable amount of AFK time. After the reset you re-buy zones from the bottom, but with the boosts active you climb back through them much faster than the first run, and quest rewards for defeating bosses top you up along the way.

Codes

Redemption is locked behind Death Castle, so unlock that zone before trying any of these. Open the Shop menu, type one entry into the text box exactly as written, and press enter. Rewards land in your inventory immediately.

Played in order, the whole thing is a short checklist. Clear the tutorial, buy enemy count and unit slots before anything cosmetic, keep pushing zones until Death Castle is yours, evolve the units you are actually fielding, and then take the prestige reset the moment the gold curve goes flat.
